Winwin would have a solo, but there were a lot of problems and scandals this week and that's why it was cancelled as well as jalapeno. Nctzens are still very sensitive, but everything will pass soon. Stay strong seasonies!! 💚🌱
The unit songs were supposed to be leading up to WayV’s second full album that was expected to come later this year. Winwin has been in China by himself since about February of this year (Lucas and Hendery had also went but came back a while ago) so he hasn’t been in Korea to do a unit song. We were expecting that Winwin would probably have something for him to do solo wise or like a another duo made for him, but obviously as I’m sure you can guess everything is up in the air rn and we really don’t know for sure what’s going to happen. WayV are expected to go back to China around September-October so time can only tell what the plans there are in regard to WayV and their activities rn
“Back To You” was STUNNING. Kun’s voice is angelic and Xiaojun’s is gorgeous. They suit each other perfectly. There’s so much emotion in this song and it’s been one of my favorites this year. I actually cry listening to it lol of course I’m biased (Kun duh) but their voices are that incredible. There is also actually an english version to “Back To You” as well that hits just as hard and a bside called “Sleepless”. “Back To You” is the only duo release to have side tracks as well. They said it’s because they sang all the songs so well that the company couldn’t decide which one to release so they let them do all 3!
And yeah wow “Low Low” was amazing, and perfectly fit Tenyang. Ten and Yangyang have great chemistry and Yangyang really ATE this song up! His lines were so iconic, the dance so fun and the song is just a great summer bop. It was also in English because Ten and Yangyang are most comfortable in that together.
Both of these duo songs have had great live performances and I highly recommend checking out the english and live version of “Back To You” on Mdromeda as it’s with a live band!
Thank you for not avoiding WayV. I totally understand those that choose to and that's ok! Weishennie and Lumi's are REALLLYYYY going though hard times right now. It's nice to see people still just enjoying the music. So thank you!
Also I'm still sad about Jalapeno. That was surely going to be a friggin BOP! Hopefully we will get it sometime in the future ::fingers crossed::
Also the Chinese version of Back to you is absolutely stunning! They also have an English version as well! Which is just as beautiful!

I love Low Low, such a jam. Although he mainly raps, I love when YangYang sings. And Xiaojun is just a vocal powerhouse. I haven't heard anything about WinWin and if he's doing anything, I would imagine if he did it would be a dance performance maybe? Maybe another one with Ten? That would be awesome!

Honestly I'm obsessed with Ten and YangYang's song its so good! Ten's voice is beautiful he is beautiful and YangYang that boy is gorgeous and ugh he looked so good with his cotton candy hair and YangYang to me has just one of the most attractive voices doesn't matter if he just talking, singing or rapping just something about it is so nice.
Unlike Ten's "Paint Me Naked" solo song, which was an SM Station release, Ten's and YangYang's "Low Low" is an SMTown release because, as you can see, there are lots of references in the MV to the fact that they are members of WayV. SM has chosen to connect this song to WayV.
"Low Low" is all in English because, as you may know, Ten grew up attending an international school in Thailand run by British educators, so he spoke English in school. And YangYang is Taiwanese, but he spent several years living in Germany when he was younger, so he is fluent in Mandarin and German, and he studied English. Like Ten, YangYang is really good at learning languages and he is pretty much fluent in English as well.
YangYang is the main rapper of WayV, but as you heard, by virtue of the fact that he is an SM artist, he also has a beautiful singing voice. All of SM's artist were chosen to become trainees because of their vocal and/or dance skills. None of the company's rappers were selected because of their rapping.Therefore, all of SM artists are amazing singers. That is why SM is known as the vocal powerhouse of the industry, because even their rappers get intense training as vocalist. You literally can't be an SM artist without having impressive vocal skills. Case in point, U-Know from TVXQ; Eunhyuk, Shindong and Heechul from Super Junior; Hyoyeon from Girls Generation; Minho and Key from SHINee; Amber from F(X); Chanyeol and Sehun from EXO; Irene from Red Velvet; Taeyong and Mark from NCT; YangYang and Lucas from WayV; and Giselle from aespa; etc. etc.
YangYang is the youngest member of WayV and he has a very bubbly cute personality.Ten and YangYang are really close. When Ten was learning Mandarin,YangYang was often Ten's translator and teacher because they both spoke English. So they bonded over their shared interests from the very beginning.
WayV is full with talented young boys. Can’t wait to see more from them.

I think Kun's and Xiaojun's voices compliment each other so well. Kun has a light and smooth voice that gives a gentle hug feeling while Xiaojun has a painful tone full of emotions. I would also recommend you to watch their live performances of Back to You. They are so beautiful; I particularly love the one they sang with a band live (the show name is "It's live"). They also released another song together called Sleepless, there is a live clip of that one on their channel.
Low low is such a catchy song. TenYang is best duo. They complimented each other so well.

Xiao Jun's voice is just so sweet that melt people's heart and Kun's voice is also sweet and different especially when he sings Chinese to be honest I can't really hear his voice in WAYV MV's only here & I already saw this song long time ago but I haven't heard of it yet only now when you reacted HAHAHAHAH🤣🤣🤣🤣

Winwin has been in China since February, so from the start we didn't know how they were going to fit him in this whole unit-of-unit of project, and now due to the recent events I don't think we ever will :/
Winwin I don’t know if there was a plan for anything at all, SM have had a habit of giving him the least screen time, lines, content etc. But i believe he has also been at University as well and while on that schedule I don’t know if he maybe wanted to do anything to maybe couldn’t but yeah there has been no word. Hendery released a mini thing with Kun ‘WuKong’ as Jalapeño is on hold for who knows how long after fake rumours came out aimed at Lucas SM did not handle it well (no shocker) and NCTzens did all the detective work proving as such but he’s still in time out waiting it out. A lot of sensitivity around any Chinese idols after Chris Wu issue even though they have NOTHING to do with him, lots of very complicated history between china and South Korea. Hopefully we will get that delayed unit track soon from Lucas and Hendery and maybe something from Winwin before the end of 2021. There is a completely instrumental piece Kun composed and produced from a wee while back is so beautiful which we are ALL hoping one day Winwin and Ten would create a dance for. There is an English version of Back To you that just while the same song for us international NCTzens just is so appreciated. Xiaojun also did a cover of For life from EXO, and a duet with Renjun recently that is just beautiful vocals.
I'm not a fan, I know nothing about them but I heard Low Low and I love it! It's so fun lol.

I'm pretty sure every WayZennie/NCTzen wants Winwin to have a solo song but with LabelV/SM, and with how he's been in China, idk. I particularly hope that he would get a solo Traditional Chinese Dance song because a long time ago Kun was talking about composing a song like that for Winwin

Some people think WinWin might be acting or something. Sometimes I never know what to wish for for each member since I don't know what their goals are. If he wants a single I hope he gets one. I was just really hoping to see more of Hendary and this sucks for him.
I prefer the live version of Low Low where they don't alter Yang Yang's voice.
I've never seen someone imbody Cute Swag as much as Yangyang, he's always so bouncy with it.
The warmth in Xiaojun's voice gets me every time, it's a nice contrast with Kun's light and floaty tone.

Some quick info on Yangyang: can speak 5 languages: English, Korean, German, Mandarin and a little bit of Spanish. Is main rapper and dancer in Wayv. Had a dream where he was onstage under anesthesia during surgery in Germany. Saw SM global audition in Taiwan ad, flew 12hrs flight, auditioned with 30,000+ people, didn’t know how to sing, dance or rap but was the only one chosen. The only one who understood the meaning of Love Talk and had to explained it to the rest of wayv 💀

Someone probably answered this, but WinWin was in China prepping for his acting work and promos. They set up a personal studio (like mini agency) just for him and his acting work.
WinWin has in the past been showcased solo. He's the first NCT member we ever saw get a solo teaser, and it's one of the first NCT teaser in general. He also had a solo dance stage to "The 7th Sense" at the MAMA Awards. He has a solo dance in the "Good Thing" x W Magazine NCT 127 promo video. So it wouldn't have been a surprise if he was doing a solo more dance oriented song, but he's said that he wanted to do acting, and NCTzens have been loud asking for WInWin acting things, so it makes sense that while other members are doing this, he's working on his acting projects.

Your reaction to "Back to You" makes me think of "Face to Face", also a ballad song of WayV members. It's really meaningful for people having a tough time and losing connection with people around, and in need of someone to have their back.
