"Fullness in Him" Colossians 2:9-12

Paul is not content to only warn us of the emptiness and futility, that is, man without truth (v. 8), he addresses the theological error of substituting inferior and created beings for Christ (vv. 9-10); and the practical error of insisting upon ritual and self-denying, self-abasing, disciplined observances as the foundation of their moral teaching (vv. 11-12).
Paul gives us two affirmations about God’s provision in Christ.
God’s Provision of Fullness in Christ (vv. 9-10)
God’s provision of union with Christ (vv. 11-12)
