Okay but I am so surprised that none of the retaliation blood moons had breeders and floaters until the 11th night. I was pretty sure that even when I did it early on, they came.
The retaliation waves change based on how many portals are destroyed. For the first two portals there are no breeders, for the 3rd and 4th portal there are 2 breeders each, for the 5th there are 3 breeders and for the 6th destroyed portal 5 breeders spawn. The number of days doesn't influence retaliation waves. I don't remember how many floaters spawn with retaliation waves. Retaliation waves only come from one side and in this video they're just out of view in most cases. At some points in the video you can see that the game doesn't save on a new day (examples: 16:12, 28:12, 32:12, 40:12). That's because the retaliation is not defeated at that point. The fourth normal blood moon spawns 1 floater, but that happens between day 20 and 24 and breeders probably spawn a bit later than that. After the left skull portal was destroyed, I got lucky. The game tried to spawn the retaliation on the left side (spawn side is random), but there was no portal left. That's why the blood moon vanished at 48:55. I hope that answers your questions.

I beat the game time and time again, but still learned things here. I thought oh oh... his knights are not gonna make it but then you ran past them and delayed the greed with coin. will adopt that!! Amazing run!!
Yeah, some situations were pretty close and could have ended tragically. It doesn't end well every time, but this time i got lucky with the risks I took.
nice play! how come there were almost no big monsters and flying ones? for me, after the 3 portal, i got massive waves of those... is there any trick to avoidd them? i passed this lvl in a different strategy, which required a lot of patience too that was the hardest lvl ever haha well played! i cant believe i finally passed it' and all i get in the end of it is 4 lame skulls on the coat of arms! xD
It's been a while since I played this, so don't take it as 100% correct. I recommend to destroy all normal portals before attacking a cliff portal. I don't remember if there's a retaliation wave after destroying a cliff portal, but in this run both cliff portals were destroyed at similar times. You can attack portals in any order and don't have to focus on one side. Some general tips: Bringing lots of gold and knights from previous islands is immensely helpful. Unless it's a speedrun, you can take your time before launching an attack, to gather as many archers as possible. Many people use the baker hermit, as vagrant camps can be very far from your kingdom. I use the ballista hermit, because it deals good damage to breeders and I need fewer Archers/Vagrants. Archers might not hunt during the day and this is where the unicorn helps with coin generation. unicorn is super OP. can just sit in the base and make infinite gold and as many archers as needed with the baker.

The original game "Kingdom: Classic" works like that, but New Lands doesn't have a final wave.
