So in1947 indian literacy rate was 12%. Our parents and that entire generation sacrificed ther lives to get their kids educated anyway possible. These are the kids who now taken over the US coroporations. Now that part is over , and india is now looking to develop corporations and innovate through current generation , in 2022 we had 21unicorns and now we have 111. so there is a shift from getting good job to creating new businesses.

Zuzana, at 39:23 you mentioned that Hinduism has castes, I would like to correct you on that. Hinduism or more accurately Sanatan Dharma as a whole never had castes. It’s a concept that was imposed upon us by the British. Yes, you read that right. It’s a Portuguese word in fact. The first official caste census was published by the British in 1900. Until then we had no such word in our vocabulary. The word allowed the British to divide our society and eventually country and rule it for almost half a century more - till 1947.
As a civilisation we had the Dharma, Varna, Kul, and Jaati concepts.
Dharma isn’t just religion as you might presume thanks to the popular usage of the word these days - it also means duty - the duties you’re supposed to carry out to fulfil your obligations - be they towards your family, friends, neighbours, community and country as a whole as well as the duties you have towards yourself as an individual wherein you seek growth on a personal level towards being the best version of yourself and also attaining your life goals and ultimately Moksha or liberation from the cycle of life and death itself.
Varna as a concept was about the kind of profession that you had selected to make a living and what was expected of you when you selected a specific path. For example a Brahmin was supposed to learn first (and it could be a woman too) and then impart knowledge to others. You could also specialise in a certain subject/skill and teach it to others. You had to be then be willing to be first the best pupil you could be and then be the best teacher possible for your students. You were expected to teach them without partiality or degradation and make sure they understood what you taught. As a Kshatriya you were expected to be what one might in modern terms consider police, armed forces and even the intelligence agencies. You were meant to keep your people safe and be loyal to your king and nation, sacrifice your life if need be for the greater good. As a Vaishya; your job was to be traders and contribute to the economy, be honest in your dealings with your partners and give your consumers genuine products without swindling them. Lastly being a Shudra wasn’t what it’s made out to be today. It’s not akin to having slaves or being discriminatory towards a community. Shudras were the backbone of the communities they lived in as they served as the working class. It could be a cook, a maid, a janitor, even someone who worked in crematoriums or who took care of those on their death beds especially owing to diseases and illnesses were shudras. The reason most people try to show how the Shudras were discriminated against is because most of these people were essentially sanitation workers cleaning gutters, looking after those with infectious diseases, working in crematoriums etc. Despite being advanced as a society, we still hadn’t discovered means to ensure that infections and diseases remain contained or those who worked in these fields could do what modern day doctors or sanitation workers can do aka mingle with the rest of us because they literally have chemicals and disposable masks, gloves etc to protect themselves and us by extension. Hence the whole staying away from the rest thing being misconstrued now.
Kul literally was the family you were born into. Jaati was community; which is where your kul obviously became a subset because based on where you come from decided the way you were raised. And when I say that what I mean is - the language/s you spoke, the food you ate, the way you dressed, the customs, traditions and culture you followed. All the things which change from region to region even within a country since it has to do with geography and the kind of life it allows you. This mattered when it came to marriages because you were looking to raise a family and obviously share a life. How can you do either with someone with whom you shared no commonality at all?
Of all the above only Kul and Jaati were birth based; because they literally are about the family and community you were born into.
Varna was not birth or gender based. You could be a teacher despite being born to a warrior or a trader or a sanitation worker if you had the aptitude for it. People even had what we can now call inter-community marriages. Look up King Shantanu from Mahabharata, he is literally a king who marries both the river goddess Ganga and later a fisherwoman, who is the daughter of the chieftain of a local fishing village in his kingdom. There are a lot of princesses who married Rishis and lived with them a life of no luxury in humble cottages and became Guru Maa for the children their husbands taught.
And like I mentioned above, Dharma has various meanings depending upon the context.
Other than that, it’s a lovely reaction video.

    • @DevanshSingh-iv2uf
      @DevanshSingh-iv2uf หลายเดือนก่อน

So will you allow your daughter/sister to marry a person from a different caste? Will your family allow that too? If caste is a British construct, why didn't we abolish caste system after 1947?

Whether she reads it or not, responds or not is up to her and frankly irrelevant to me. I don’t have to feel like I let a false narrative go on by simply ignoring whatever she said and not making a comment. I am not seeking any validation, I am merely doing what I feel is right. If she reads this and looks up these concepts well and good, if not, then too I have had my say and eventually if she still continues to believe the narratives despite being told that they’re wrong then we know these videos are for farming views and making money; not out of a genuine desire to know about our culture and country. Either way it works for the best.

When he says abhrahic he is talking about foundational principles.
    1 - commandments
2 - we vs they (infidels) hence need to convert
    3 - NO questioning
4 - One life and human above everything else planet, nature, other living beings etc
5 - power with priests and herd natured people around him
6 - Strict definition of God and separation of being with that source..
Etc etc etc... just one question you need to answer.. "what word discovery meant, in perspective of all powerful church in europe.. and what it led to"

It's great to see someone seeking the depth of our culture. I can understand your irritation due to cultural differences and not fully comprehension of the background of the subject matter. If you dive deep in our language a single word has multiple meanings which create our psychology and perspective and while speaking in english we couldn't express it in it's original sense. Since we're seekers and always up for criticism so express without second thoughts on offending ..we watch you for your opinion, we'll appreciate only. As you're a protestent, you're already a seeker. About your question..
1- About inflation..the more Govt spends the more money with the people and which leads to more inflation thus Govt must esablish a balace between the spending and inflation.
2- About Engineers.. we're good with number and mathematics and it's a big deal here in primary education and in our daily life yeah during higher education we do move to other fields but as our emphasis of math is more on primary so a larger proportion is like that.
3- PRASADAM - Its considered that whatever we're getting or earning it's because of the lord or GOD. And there are Temples ( Mandir in hindi) in every place. so rich or ppl offer its money or things to the lord in the temple and the temple use this money to give foods or necessary items to the needy or downtrodden of the society. This food or clothing or item is called PRASAD. This way the Extra money of the rich reaches to the poor and wealth is distributed equally. It saves Rich from getting egoistic and poor got their Self respect intact as they get this from the Lord.

I love how in this age of internet, at least we all are able to express our side of story. Few years back, it was unthinkable that a person in the Central Europe would get to listen Indian side of a story from a native Indian and not from biased explorers and scholars who just happened to visit India for a small period of time. That being said, this is a human nature, we learn through life experiences. So whatever understanding one has about other culture or religion is through how they or their ancestors experienced those cultures. So the only way to introduce other side of the story is to make people experience that other side. Since we already have a bad experience, everything bad that happens out of the poor leadership of the West and all the wars that are still happening adds up to the older experience that we had. So the Western countries need to prove THROUGH THEIR ACTIONS, that they have another and better side. And that applies to India too. People are not giving attention to India because suddenly they realized how Sanskari India is. Indian people have started showing up in leadership roles in different domains like Technology, Geopolitics, Yogic Sciences and Space exploration. Hence this change in people's experience of India. That ohh these people are not just snake charmers, or just the crooked idol worshipers that we were told about in the past. There is more to their culture. It takes time to change narrative world over. Only experiencing things from multiple perspectives can bring us to more and more light.

In sanatan dharma Nature, God, soul, truth all are same part of one truth i. e Paramatman, where as in Abrahamic religion all are different. Please understand interpretation can be many but truth is always one. Therefore God, nature, soul , truth are all same because they have to be same. 🙏

In India there is rapid religious conversions are happening, entire north east India is christianized, and South India is also christianized, because if Islam we lost 2/5th of our land. It's not a hate, it's the thought process. Many European countries donates money to church for charity. That money is getting spreading here for religious conversions. I don't have problem with religious conversions until it's not forced. What I'm saying is don't loose ur local culture. After conversation these people are loosing and hating their own culture. For 2 decades ago they were our family members but now they call us infedals, 3rd world Christianity and Islam is very different from 1st world Christianity and Islam. People here usually seek for jobs (especially government ones for job security) and obviously government can't produce millions of jobs from thin air nor private ones so that's why people of this amount of population should prefer starting their own business/entrepreneurship via their own methods so they can employ themselves as well as others that's what I think..

All three religion trace their origin from Abraham (who was first person in Book of genesis) who established relation with god after Abraham there was divergence in all three religion. Adam is the first man in all three . So the three are classified as abrahamic .

Hinduism is NOT a religion at all. Please only use the phrase: Sanatan is DHARMA.
There is no equivalent word for dharma in Abrahamism, because 1. They believe in SINGLE LIFE. 2. As a result they lean towards hedonism
      3. They also lean towards SELF as being most important.. although there is also an effort to correct that deficiency through the idea of CHARITY. Essentially Abrahamism is clueless how to eliminate selfishness and hedonism from their flock.

The big difference between Abrahamic Economics vs Sanatan Economics is the movement of wealth.
In case Sanatan Economics the wealth moves to rich through small, medium and big entrepreneurship and the same wealth moves to the poor through social welfare though the temple/religious economy and cultural functions. This way the whole economy sustains by itself. Temple economy sustains if all the people believe in the existence of soul, karma and multiple reincarnations. As an example Hindu religion has celebrations almost on average twice a month (think of this as 24 Christmas celebrations in a year). The concept of "prasad" is temple giving food, gifts and other blessings to the poor for free. Also these celebrations (e.g. ISCON celebrations) help people mix with one another and also keeps them some level of spiritual.
In case of Abrahamic/Western/capitalism Economics wealth moves to rich through mainly huge/massive level entrepreneurship ventures and after that the poor become useless as they are no longer useful consumers. Hence through war the rich try to find another group of consumers. Overall it is not sustainable.

Parshad from mandir, its like food blessed by god given freely or sub cost basis. I as a Sikh, we give prasad as Langer, free community food organised by gurudwaras (sikh places of worship) managed and organised by community donation, 365 days of year, so in case of hardship no human ever goes hungry atleast, no matter what race, color or religion, all are equal, all sit down side by side and eat food.
To understand Mandir economists, imagine if there is a hill station, completely run on money inflow run from tourism. Now replace tourist with people doing pilgrimage and hill station with a mandir of significance, the whole ecosystem and economy of a city or town is run having million of devotees annually staying for few days, eating, spending money etc, its tourism without actually tourism. The money donated to mandir, is then further spend for social well being, helping needy etc causes. Since India has a lot of people, this tends to works pretty good, if surrounding property is developed, this is starting to take place in India, so its another form of internal circulation economy over and above traditional internal circulation.

About the inflation, we are safer than neighbouring countries, but the poor people who are btw poor because they didn't get enough education or jobs or they didn't study willingly, (its obvious because we have big population and less jobs , that because people are more into jobs than making job masking businesses) are the ones complaining about it. I'm not rich but i accept the reality, if only india would had supported entrepreneurship before, we would had lesser unemployed people.

See, let me clear your Confusion about why we use the term Abrahamic, it's not our term, it's your term! Judaism, Christianity and Islam are clubbed as Abrahamic Religions by scholars all around the world, because all of them come from same roots, which lie in Israel. Off courses there are differences, but basic themes run common in all, all are Monotheistic and Prophetic in a sense, so that basic sense of commonality in thinking procedure is what we term as Abrahamic ideology.
Similarly, in India we are Dharmic System, all four Religions (just calling for the sake of convenience, they are Dharmas not religion actually) originating in India Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Sikh come under the Dharmic Umbrella, they too have basic commonalities and those commonalities we call the Dharmic Way!
Now, what about the difference between Dharma and Abrahamic Religions?
In Dharmic Framework, the Belief Systems are the offshoots of our Way of Life, while in Abrahamic Religions the Way of Life is the offshoot of the Belief System! Dharmic Framework revolves around Enquiry and the Enquiry can produce beliefs, but they don't supercede the Enquiry itself, so Enquiry based Dharmic Framework can very well acommodate different Belief Systems without much mutual friction. While in Abrahamic Framework, the Belief System is Ultimate, thus leaving little to no room for Enquiry and leads to the Formation of Exclusive identities and Differences in Believes can cause Violent Clashes which have been the case with Abrahamic Religions all over the history. So, the difference Dharmic and Abrahamic Concept, doesn't just lie in different Believes only, but in the entire Framework!
So, when we say Abrahamic, we are talking about your Entire Framework of Thinking, not your Believes in particular! Off course the beliefs are different and you don't feel your Framework because it is deeply ingrained in the Collective Thinking of Society as well as Individuals! So, please understand what we mean by Dharmic and Abrahamic here! Even Western Atheists too can't remove that Framework, so Communism etc also comes within that same Framework of Belief based Superiority Complex, thus even though not believing in Only God, they still come under Abrahamic Umbrella, because they follow same Framework! Hope everyone get it clearly!

Unlike other economics where producers entice consumers to buy for consumption, mandir economics presents a never ending ecosystem. Visitors come to visit temples. They buy offerings for the god and the temple, which purchases sustain all the shop keepers and businesses that supply them. These visitors need place to stay, eat, maybe even visit other places in the city which all add to the economis and trade. Depending on the mandir (temple), you may even have guides who can give the history of the temple. Visitors may also buy souvenirs. And the visitations by locals and out of town visitors / devotees goes on no matter the day, month, or year. And, during festivals, the temple attracts even more devotees and visitors. So, the mandir ecosystem and economics becomes a powerful economic engine for the city and it's populace.

  • @RG-un2vl
    @RG-un2vl หลายเดือนก่อน

Abrahamic is a term the west uses. Some smaller ecosystems there might have stopped using it. But it’s a legitimate term. Also how western think tanks behave in the west( essentially for their own people) is very different from the rules they apply to the east ( especially people belonging to native faiths). What he is saying is absolutely accurate. Eg the economics of conversion no longer exists in the west , since conversion of natives is complete but it is an absolute reality in India ,where they are still actively trying to convert people by coercion, lying and collusion with other anti native forces. It’s something someone from a non native perspective will never understand unless they really try to. One has to remember Hinduism has no problem with any religion, proselytizing religions have a problem with native people remaining true to their native faiths.

India inflation is about 5.5%, country is growing 8% nominal growth and real gdp growth is around 10%, in covid times India had the least inflation compared to others, and even when Russia Ukraine war started and fertilizer, wheat and fuel was globally in short supply, even then India inflation was sub 10%. In a election year, even if things are doing well, can be made into a issue, when it really isnt. When opposition has lack of things to criticize, then a normal thing can be hyped into a issue. Am sure post election it wont be discussed. India central bank RBI target to have healthy inflation for economy is between 4-6% and its within that range, so its a hue cry despite meeting your targets aka manufactured

  • @abhinavshaw9112
    @abhinavshaw9112 หลายเดือนก่อน

I can offer some clarity regarding abrahimic economics - this any form of economics which is designed based on the understanding that we have only one life. The roots can be traced back to abrahimic religions like Islam and Christianity which dictate that we have only one life. This in turn leads to psyche that is more exploitative in nature, because if you have only one life, there is no incentive for you to not exploit the resources of the planet. Capatilistic thinking is driven by this abrahimic concept which has to a certain degree penetrated the western economics.
Also, about the divide that you are talking about, I do see instances of folks driven by material wealth, whether they relate to Abraham shouldn’t matter because the principals that the society is governed is abrahimic in nature.

    Hey sister
I truly agree with you that the words of Jesus(bible) has been adulterated, misunderstood and what not. I always used to think that how so loving being(human form of god) who died for sins of all(not for specific people) can discriminate between the people who follow him and the one who didn't and how he can say to kill the people who didn't followed his words.
Btw i would like to recommend you a book

prasaaad is basically free food every temple/gurudwara provides after the prayers. so its basically free food economy
a small portion of that food that you cooked is given to god during prayers and after prayers all of the food you cooked is now pure to distribute
some gurudwara and temples will have large scale prasaad called bhandara or shabeel that will feed 100s of people no money nothing
its a free service for example the famous golden temple
    thats how temple economy works
in our culture giving fees us i have no other explanation
so people give there money gold silver to god as daan
its not a donation like in western term but more spiritual
people who have and can give will give and all benifit because from that money you get prasaad and even hospital and schools running

Sanatana economy doesn't say you are the owner of wealth. Everything moves around the temple. It was there throughout India. Everything is celebrated in festival mode which runs the economy ,it is still here. Education was done by the temple to learn meaningful teaching for a life.
