I really don't understand why the xse is the only completely plug and play why can't talk make it plug and play for the se as well because if someone doesn't splice the wire wrong it can really mess up the connections

the splicing demonstration to connect the red to positive, would i do it how he did it in the video? afraid it might fall out, should i use tape or something to keep it secure?

If you are referring to the startup animation then they only work when you manually turn on your headlights unless you have a remote start installed on your car.
I ordered these same taillights but from different company and it did come with that white plug and play to se to led converter but there wasn't an extra wire coming out of it to plug into positive. But everything still worked. Any idea ? Do u think the positive was alredy built inside that plug
@@aussiepbx0752 No, looked into the wiring and everything looked good. No blown fuses, everything fits right and it is the XSE model so it should be just “plug and play”
They will not answer you, they brushed me off on chat as well.He don’t know how to explain, customer service is shit lvl and when you buy from them F you customer, figure it out

This video is a horrible tutorial on how to properly install, when there's no intro explanation on how to remove everything first.

They come with an adapter I have the ones you just mentioned and they work just fine
Did you leave the red wire in the reverse light socket like that or did you have to slice more and use tape?
The three dots on the side of the taillights don’t turn on only the left side though

Unfortunately the factory has changed the wiring now it needs to be connected to the license plate or the outer light.
@@HiRevSports how do you secure the connection between the two? Did you splice the black wire and the red wire and tie them together.

You probably installed the lights with ignition on. Check your fuses.
