Why do people not get their dogs neutered and spayed, what part of thousands of healthy, puppies, young and old dogs all breeds are killed yes put to sleep everyday, there is a crisis in all shelters, it is likely statistically only one of these puppies will find a forever home, adopt don't shop, come on people our actions are killing digs every day and then we go ahhhhh to a puppy sorry it makes me sad
When you purchase a puppy from us you sign a contract that requires your puppy be spayed or neutered. Dogs purchased from responsible breeders do not end up in shelters as the contract also requires the purchaser to return their puppy to the breeder at any point in the dog's life if the person is no longer able to care for the dog for any reason. While adopt don't shop sounds lovely what it actually does is perpetuate the number of dogs found in shelters and puppy mills. Each time you choose to take a puppy home from a shelter or "rescue" organization, you are rewarding the puppy mills or backyard breeders who do not put the care and attention into raising happy, well-adjusted dogs who don't get surrendered. You are rewarding poor breeders who do not properly and thoroughly vet their families or match puppies to families to avoid puppies being surrendered. You promote poor breeders who are in it for the quick buck and don't take their puppies back rather than the responsible breeder who does all those things and more to ensure their puppies are happy and healthy. Professional breeders put their puppies first, they advocate for their puppies, they are their puppies' voice. That's who you should support if you truly care about the welfare of dogs.
