Amen sister... but I'm not so sure winning is a good thing.. they trap you for a year and this man needs to be set free to play for the masses in concert with the albums he already has.... amazing songs on them... i'm totally amazed he has been essentially in obscurity.... go to iTunes and listen to clips of his music... he even has a couple of videos.... great ones i think..... he is the next country superstar....

After I heard him in the blind audition, I knew he was the real deal and he has done nothing to change my mind since. His version of Walk the Line was amazing! The song he is performing here was done originally by Vern Goslin, one of the best voices in country music. Boyd does a great job with it in spite of terrible acoustics.It took America a long time to "discover" Willie Nelson; let's hope country music producers don't sleep on this guy. There are still a lot of traditional country music fans - a lot of us - just waiting for these converted rock and hip hop producers pretending to be country music producers to WAKE UP!.
