Amazing geology around that area. Love it.
I took my grandson out there a few years ago after rock hunting and he caught some bass, fabulous night sky. Good Times
That's great. I haven't been back there since but definitely camping by the river was awesome watching people catch a crap load of blue gills.
Truck sounds like it’s gonna fall apart. Rattling up a storm.😊

Volcanic--not sandstone. Thanks for sharing; I was looking for video that would show me how long the stretch with cool formations was. :-)
Awesome.
what time of year was that?
2022
Did you deflate your tires? To what psi? Thanks
No, didn't deflate the tires. I had General Grabber tires
Just a tip... when driving in terrain that has volcanic rock, it's always better to air down to about half of your highway tire pressure.
This will not only help smooth out the rough road, saving wear and tear on your rig (and your back) but it also makes your tires flex more so they will be less prone to puncture.
Think about it... its easier to pop a full balloon than it is to pop a half full balloon because the balloon has more stretch and give. Your tires are the same way.
Deflating wasn't necessary on that road.
Epic adventures and full of beautiful scenery
