KLM have kitted out their Embraer E195-E2 really nicely- the cabin is smart and it's such a quiet aircraft on takeoff. Bet you were glad not to get banana bread 😂 There is one inaccuracy in your video- not all KLM Cityhopper flights to the UK depart from Gate D6 in AMS. Some Embraer E195-E2 flights board from the D gates via an airbridge as per @travelwithmelih video on his channel.
Thanks for the information, I've not seen the KLM Cityhopper's at the main D-Pier, only at the D6 bus gates. I enjoyed this E2 experience, I'm looking forward to flying them again when they provide a flight on the type!
I've long been a fan of the Embraer 190 with its 2x2 seating on the EDI-LCY route. The new engines make these even better. I notice this doesn't have the Sharklets on the wing tips though?
No airline flies the Embraer 195 between EDI and LCY. BA Cityflyer use the Embraer 190 on this route. The Embraer E195-E2 was only certified to operate into LCY in November 2023 and BA Cityflyer don't currently have this aircraft in their fleet.
@@RogEdwardsTV The lack of winglets is because the E2-190/195 offers the "raked wingtip" similar to the Boeing 787 and Boeing 777-X. Kind of hope that BA Cityflyer will go for the E2 over the A220 myself!
Nice video Jett Tyler and what a lovey aircraft the E2 is.
I was very pleased of the E2! However, I know some airlines are not so nice with the cabins of their E2-fleet!

@@armychap007I meant BA Emb190 - have done the trip many many times - typo! 😂
