Coming soon! I'm working on putting doors in my studio to close it off from the rest of the house. This room was the dining room when my wife and I bought the place. The chandelier finally came out over the Summer. Lot's of fun projects and plenty not-so-fun ones until the space is ideal.

Thank you! I'm recording more ambient music tomorrow - first time with this new rig so it's exciting.

I have the Mystic Edge and I use it direct with the cab sim. I have been looking at the Silk Drive or maybe a digital preamp pedal (like Mooer) as an alternative.
As someone who uses Line 6 HX stuff, do you think the Nutube has a better feel? And do you think the cab sim is as good as using an IR? Thanks for the content

They feel different for sure. Admittedly I'm not a huge fan of the built in cab sim in these pedals so I prefer to use it as a preamp into an amp's FX return. If I have to go direct, I much prefer the customization of the Stomp. The Mystic Edge and this entire line of pedals from Vox is just really versatile but if I were building a rig around them specifically to go direct, I think I'd get an IR loader. I tried out the Sonic Cake IR recently and thought it did a great job for the money - amzn.to/3GpUKP9

Why all the pedals and interfaces instead of the Helix Stomp?

Not necessarily instead of, just another thing to play with. Most of the time when I lay down electric parts I just use the Stomp as an interface to go directly to the DAW. I probably still will use that setup a lot of the time.
The Antelope interface is super high end and I wanted to get all of these preamps to record acoustic instruments and for whatever other sessions I get asked to do in the future so that was really the priority. I have a ton of analog guitar pedals and putting together the pedal drawer was just plain fun.
