Himeko Herta Team & Aventurine x Acheron Pure Fiction Stage 4 (3 Stars) | Honkai Star Rail

Pure Fiction 2.1 Phase 2 just updated today with new enemy line up and Whimsicality (Main buff) " Accumulate amount of follow up dmg until 100% then perform an AOE attack on all enemies". There are also three new Cacophony (Sub buff which can be choose for each team) 1) Whimsicality no longer required accumulated dmg, but instead need 3 follow up attack to trigger it. AOE dmg will also be increased by 60%. 2) When Whimsicality is triggered all allies receive 35% energy based on their max energy. Energy receive this way can exceed its normal limit. 3) Whimsicality AOE dmg to all enemies now can also be accumulated via other types of allies attack not limiting to follow up attack. But, accumulation rate will only be 18% of attack dmg (which is not follow up attack).
It is clear that this Pure Fiction iteration does really favors follow up attacking unit which is obvious with Aventurine banner still having more than a week left.
In this video, I will be showcasing Himeko Herta Team without sustain for First Node & Aventurine Acheron Team for Second Node in clearing Pure Fiction 2.1 Stage 4.
First Node:
At this point, it is quite obvious that building both of them will make player playthrough so much easier for this game mode. In current iteration they are still exceptionally strong even with my mediocre lvl 60 Herta. They are able to perfect clear first node. I do believe that even with Sustain they will still be able to perfect clear, I personally haven't tried it yet.
So, I did tried all three Cacophony buffs. The one which perform far better than rest was 2) "When Whimsicality is triggered all allies receive 35% energy based on their max energy. Energy receive this way can exceed its normal limit." This buff enable both Himeko & Herta to have more ULT uptime to help chain break enemies for their chain follow up combo. I will be using ATK boots on both of them for more dmg and have Asta to enable their speed breakpoints. Ruan Mei also does plays an important role helping in breaking enemy easier thanks to her Break efficiency increase & her action delays also does help in team survivability.
Second Node:
I tried many times with this team, but unfortunately I couldn't Perfect clear this node. I think that if my Acheron have her Signature LC she might be able to Perfect clear even without it score was already near 35000K.
With this team I tried only with two Cacophony buffs which are 1) "Whimsicality no longer required accumulated dmg, but instead need 3 follow up attack to trigger it. AOE dmg will also be increased by 60%" and 3) "Whimsicality AOE dmg to all enemies now can also be accumulated via other types of allies attack not limiting to follow up attack. Energy receive this way can exceed its normal limit." it is obvious that with my E0S0 Aventurine & Kafka's follow up attack it will be hard to frequently reach 100% of accumulated dmg to trigger AOE attack and get energy regen.
From all Cacophony buffs the best one was 1) which need 3 follow up attack to trigger its AOE dmg. The idea was to have both Aventurine & Kafka to help trigger AOE dmg while also act as sub - dps and have Acheron clear as much enemies as she can with her ULT. I also did tried Acheron DoT team, for my builds and current investment level this team perform better than DOT team which I replace Pela with Black Swan.

Substituting RM is a little difficult as 1st choice would be Asta, but she’s already on the team. You can opt for a sustain or Hanya/Guinaifen if you want more damage
Kafka isn’t as necessary as she’s mostly here to help Acheron and a bit of personal dmg. BlackSwan/Guinaifen would be best. SilverWolf works but is less ideal for Pure Fiction due to her being single target. If you have Sparkle or a very good Bronya, you can use them instead to mitigate damage loss from having 1 less nihility for Acheron
