    I was a huge fan of this album. Hadn't really followed Nazareth length prior, so I was a bran new Rankin fan after seeing him on Thicke and on Solid Gold. I had this cassette in my walkman for months straight, then again after short breaks. I'll never understand why it didn't catch fire as it should have.

    It is easy to see why Pete Agnew offered him the spot to replace Dan when Dan got too sick to preform on stage anymore, but it is also clear why Billy declined. He can sing but he does not sound like Dan - who does - so why go through it? Still, I think I like this version of "Rip It Up" better than the later version after Billy rejoined Nazareth.
