Ok next to Alamo Heights is Terrel Hills than north of that you got uptown. O'connor/ nacogdoches Not sure what you call that maybe just NorthEast but yeah put that in your next top 5 hoods.
We moved here from Houston and live in Castle Hills. I’m a sucker for mid century modern ranch style homes! For the price we paid for almost an acre of land right smack in the middle of San Antonio with a 3300 square-foot home and a pool can’t beat it!
Great video. Terrell Hills, Shavano Park and Timberwood Park are nice neighborhoods too, but they are close to the neighborhoods you mentioned. I've been to San Antonio many times and i wanna relocate there soon.
Thanks! Yup, those neighborhoods are really nice too. If it was a top 10 they'd have definitely made the cut! Feel free to reach out anytime if we can help with your move in any way. You can reach us as 210.510.9444. Always happy to be a resource😎
Yes. I love Terrell Hills, Alamo Heights, Castle Hills, Monte Vista, Shavano Park, Olmos Park, etc. Great neighborhoods still WITHIN the city limits and not way the hell outside of 1604. Like he said in the video "you can spend your life LIVING there. Not GETTING there". I enjoy being a part of my city's culture, feel, and vibe; not separated from it in a cookie-cutter planned community/neighborhood.
Watching this video again. Great vid. Still on the fence about moving to San Antonio from San Diego, CA. Where I was born and raised. Just want a bigger place for my growing family. Love California and there was a time California was affordable. Initially my 4 bedroom 3000sqft house I bought with my mom was $320,000 back in 2003 in Chula Vista, CA. I just want a change. No politics just want to live in peace.
We'd be happy to have a conversation to answer any questions you may have about living here as you weigh your decision to move. There's definitely a lot to consider and we'd love to help with any insight we can offer.
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving While I'm watching your vids in the background while working today. Definitely will reach out. Wifey and I were discussing flying out to San Antonio in the future.🙂

It's a whole new city outside 1604 now. We have folks that reach out who used to live here 15-20yrs ago and can't believe how things have grown since then.
Hi, thank you for the information. I recently retired and plan on moving to San Antonio later this year. I plan on coming out in May to look for an apartment for now. What about New Braunfels,? Places for seniors activities and entertainment. Thank you😊
New Braunfels is an amazing area just North of SA along I-35. We also have resources for apartment locators in the city if you'd like a referral. You can shoot us a call/text anytime at 210.510.9444
Yeah Fox Grove is pretty nice, we've had clients buy and sell homes in there too! Lots of shopping along Bulverde Rd & Hwy 281 and good schools in the area. Were you focused on looking in the 78259 zip code on the Far North Side?
You should definitely check out Stone Oak👉🏾 th-cam.com/video/HpWIi3OAUqw/w-d-xo.html Canyon Springs is just North of Stone Oak and it's a really nice neighborhood too. This video you commented on also mentions Cibolo Canyons, which is just on the other side of Hwy 281. This is one of my favorite hoods and I have a full video about that one coming soon. You might also look into Indian Springs, which is right next to Cibolo Canyons... all great areas we've helped folks move to! Were you considering a move in the near future?
HOA's are really common here, especially in neighborhoods built in the last 20yrs. They're usually only $300-$600/yr and have fairly standard covenants with lots of amenities. For the most part they just make sure people keep their grass cut and don't park campers in the community. Other than that Texans don't like being told what to do so the HOA's are pretty chill😎
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving I like the benefits of HOA but my husband is straight NO. you are right Texans dont like to be told what to do. My husband is like if im paying for a house I get to do what I want with it.
Tnere's definitely options to be in a nice area without an HOA, just depends on location. We'd be happy to talke in more detail whenever you available for a quick call.

What areas in san antonio isn't prone to flooding?
Fortunately most of San Antonio is free of flooding issues. Flood insurance isn't common here. Were there certain parts of town you were considering?
@@SanAntonioTexasLiving no I never been, but was considering moving sometime in the future, and was wondering did it flood a lot or in certain areas.
Which neighborhood don’t flood
