So many of us are in search of “home”. I hope you find all that you are seeking. Your wife seems patient and kind. Wishing both of you peace ❤
Thank you 🙏🏾 I appreciate you and you kind words. She is indeed very patient.
Congratulations on reconnecting to your roots! Very important move! Blessings to you and your entire family.
This is one of the most beautiful "why I'm leaving" videos I've had the privilege to consume. Thank you for sharing yourself with us instead of stating as many negative things about Merida that you could think of. Bless you on your travels, I recognize this comment is late.
Awwww, now I understand.
Go back to Trinidad brother and seek its peace. If it doesn’t provide it, then at least you’ve closed that door in life.
And the warm sunshine of Mexico will always welcome you back with sincere love.
Whatttt?? I’m about to watch this. I hope you didn’t leave, I really enjoyed your videos
Curt, I grew up in Germany with a Romanian father and never felt 100 percent German. I have lived in the US for over 45 years and don't feel like an American. I have thought about living in Merida, and guess what, I'll be an expat there too. But that's alright. Treasure your family. They are more important to you than you may realize.
New follower here. I am so so looking forward to leaving the US and Meridia was referred by a coworker.
The felling brother......the felling go with you felling area and then you can dicided where to stay broo big hug.
The video quality is AMAZING! What camera are you using? Much love from a fellow New Jerseyan with Trinidadian parents!
Hey sir where is that exact location of that green park in the starting of this video? Very beautiful
I'm trying to get out of the US, but I'm also not trying to go to Monterrey where my aunt is. Merida looks like really nice place to be. Might have to look into moving there at some point.
@@Curtworrell Question: How likely is it for a hurricane to come a wreak havoc on this place?
Hola seria bueno tener más opciones de ciudades bonitas y seguras de México. Otra muy buena opción es Leon Guanajuato, ciudad cosmopolita, moderna y segura y con un clima templado excelente 🤩
I understand your desire to go back to your original home. I myself want to leave my country and go to Mexico to live. This has been my desire for years now. I am afraid to move alone to a country where I don't speak the language or know anyone
No one here will go with me. I thought if house setting, but it seems difficult to get into that when you are a complete stranger. . Then I f
It thought maybe I could be a companion to someone who needed some assistance. I am a CNA here in the US. So then again, just how do you approach this. I can only say good for you and your dream and maybe mine will also come true one day. God bless you.
Honestly Merida is too hot for me, I am still searching for a perfect winter get away.
I planned on doing a visit to Merida, but from the videos, I don't think I could do it. It just appears vacant...very little foot traffic. It just seems like I would get bored very quickly. I'm a New Yorker. I need activity.
Pienso que el nomada es nomada y nunca va estar en un solo lugar siempre va estar de un lugar a otro , eh visto muchos youtuber nomadas y si se quedan en un lugar pero al final terminan viajando.
What I sense is that you don't feel a sense of belonging anywhere you go. You might never feel that "belonging-ness" that you seem to crave. Rootless-ness is a problem for children "displaced" from an early age. It's something that diasporans are subject to. I hope you find what you're looking for in Trinidad..........Isaac Kawuki-Mukasa has written on this problem. You might find it an interesting read.
Don't forget about part 2😂
I never got a chance to record part 2. I had some issues and I sort out then I left Mexico
I'm leaving Merida as well. All this place has done was make my depression worse.
Im leaving soon as well. Overhyped, overpriced, and the “community” isn’t a community at all.
@@prettybrwneyez7757 they say you can get really good prices that's not true?
Nice vid. I went to Mexico (MEXICO CITY, DF CDMX), in March 2013 still now, Mexico is the best,,, comparing States, Switzerland, Ro, where I come from, Panama, Canada and so,...China is okay but VIETNAM is Way BETTER. Thanks and Good luck bk and Trinidad Bro.
Come to dallas texas or san Antonio texas you will be here 4 the rest of your life...
area looks nice....i am mixed race and I notice a lot of AA folks with videos called "Why I'm Leaving". Seriously, is the algorhytm just pushing these to me cause maybe they know my race, or is this a trend?
Curt ..your video was confusing and not clear about why u decided to leave Mérida 😢
Your title is leaving Merida . You should be more specific about your Story. You are not direct enough. Sorry .
I live in Merida and I love it. I love the food, I love the cenotes, the ruins, the landscapes, the mangroves, the beaches, the springs, I love the people, if you come back to Merida let me know and I'll gladly give you a ride. I am a real estate consultant in Yucatan and I love everything in my state.
For sure
Oh... So it was Mérida Yucatan, I thought he was on Mérida, spain. Is beautiful here but the heat has been increasing over time I can barely breath normally xd
I’m looking to purchase in Merida. Are you able to connect with me ?

I like the neighborhood you were walking through and the places you went along the journey in this video. Do you know how much it would be to rent a small apartment or house somewhere near there?? I like at least 1 and 1/2 bath and a minimum of 2 bedrooms. ❤ Thanks in advance to anyone who can reply! Buen viaje!!
