    Are you planning to do an update on this? How did the the patient that was upgraded to high risk when it came to the TAVR almost 5 yrs after the surgery? Originally I was looking at having a TAVR operation. But the surgeon noticed some other issues and suggested the Ross procedure to be the better option. So far no complications after surgery and after being released from the hospital.

    Do the TAVR valves preclude the patient from future MRI procedures?

      What do you mean by "going bad"? You had a tissue valve replacement?

    • @barron4000

      DAN COSTINEL yes

      @burgessfamily5268 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dancostinel5829 I have been told that tissue valve should last 15 years, give or take. The artificial valves don't wear out, but higher risk of blood clots.

      No reason to worry!..TAVR has been used for over 15 years now, with a very low mortality rate...I just had a TAVR done...it went smoothly, no pain, and I began to feel better overall within a few hours of the procedure!.
