Thanks so much for watching my last AMV for the year! :) Just a reminder that I'm now accepting channel donations at this link: ko-fi.com/imstrange Any donations are much appreciated, but not expected, love y'all!
It's so crazy to look back at what they have gone though, all the people they lost, all the hardships, all the battles, and just to see how much they have grown as people and as fighters. That's why I love this show so much.
Brilliant!! The perfect way to end 2020 and the first half of Volume 8. Both was a long, wild ride of emotions. Leave it to you to sum it up so well. Thank you for the amazing works this year, Dakota! 🍻😎👍🌹
This is so good....also, this may be really weird, but I absolutely love that last hug between Ruby and Penny. Something about their mannerisms and movements just shows how far the animation has come. I love it sm.
there's a reason i'm afraid of the dark... if i'm in the dark i get attacked by something, whether it's harassment, or violence. i always get hurt in some way. the enemies of God trample my soul, wherever i go though. so when i see the Grimm, i think of the demons in the shadows, waiting to strike. literal, actual, demons. fighting the Grimm isn't like fighting a human, nor a robot, it's almost like actually having to fight the animals here. bears, wolves, crows, bats, scorpions... etc... and some are giant. not all animals are created the same, neither are the Grimm. dragons often have crystallized and functional parts inside their guts, giving them unforeseen power over the elements, making them targets, but formidable opponents, or allies if you're lucky. Gods on the other hand don't need to rely on the elements, they have their own power, mankind has been calling on these powers for a long time... but not too long of a time, it's only been a short while compared to eternity, which is to say with no beginning nor end. the Grimm relies on brutal strength, and fear, and darkness, kinda like demons... Dust has a significant standard to its own element, giving natures wrath, and lighting up the darkest corners of that world. but if it's true there, it's true here too you know. the elements in the dust of the Earth have a consciousness, and those consciousnesses have their own strengths, being what they've acquired as power in the time on this Earth as crystallized beings. rocks and dirt aren't just minerals and sediments, when further condensed into crystallized form they have properties of spirit energy. as a result of becoming more of the same being and growing to enormous masses, they become more powerful, kinda like when you push out the impurities of metals becoming one self. we're just in baby-land about these elements becoming powerful entities, seeing as we upon seeing something that is beautiful on the inside, we just saw or crack it open to reveal the beauty instead of utilizing the true power in the crystals... harnessing the power of the elements from the spirit within will take a miracle though, unless we can think like the guys on Final Fantasy soon enough. i've seen what these things can do sometimes. you have to call on their strength, and if you do it publicly you're seen as witches or wizards, and burned usually... it may not be the dark ages anymore, but people still do that. you make a marble btw, and you've made one of these crystals artificially, giving power via dye colors as to a specific element. marbles are another story though... their elements can be sensed, but they're different from elements of the crystallized rock formations. you have to sense the elements by asking, if they tell you can ask for the help, but you call upon the powers they have harshly and they'll sometimes not let you use them. lightly... they are alive after all. i make my own runes... runes don't have to be symbols like letters, they can be paintings on rocks, computers, or on paper... the reason why they work is giving them a purpose and meaning, and belief. faith with the power of prayer works wonders, so does this, belief in something good, which is unseen, but is true. this is faith. this is why your bodies can do so many things with the power of prayer, with the words we say to our God, or to water in some cases that we call upon the water's God, which is in the water in spirit... God; He is everywhere.
Honestly, I haven't been enjoying Volume 8 so far, not because things are going bad for our protagonists but I've had a hard time CARING, the directing is just bad and we haven't gotten a single good fight scene yet and we're 7 episodes in and I think these new directors that RT has hired for RWBY aren't caring about them, which means no more good fight scenes for RWBY. I was originally very optimistic about this volume, like I am every year but I'm enjoying this volume even less than Volume 5. The episodes in this Volume just don't have any heart anymore, it's like they were like "eeeh, and then the huntsman is shocked Cinder killed her step family and fights her" instead of what it should be, us actually seeing his thought process, making him seem like a living breathing person. For example Blake, all she has done so far this volume is make sad eyes in the backround and sometimes an occasional sassy joke, it doesn't make you wonder, hmmmm, what is she thinking? She just doesn't seem like she's real anymore, nor does anyone else this volume. It's like the characters are just playing out actions like puppet figures and not real human beings that have thought and feel like they are real. Even volume 5 had that and while yes, I did hate the fight at the end of the volume, I still cared about them, and they still had some depth. Anyway, that's my take on this volume, and this might not happen but please don't be mad at me and roast me in the comments for not enjoying this volume. I'm not being toxic this volume is just unenjoyable for me but if you just want to discuss your opinions then that's completely fine of course please do that, thank you
I will simply say I disagree, and hope that you find something new that will grab you like rwby did in the past. If you are open to recommendations, and if you haven't seen it already. I think The Sword of the Stranger has some of the best fight animation direction and choreography I've ever seen.
@@jakeperez8242 oh really? No I haven't heard about that before but I'll be sure to watch it, thanks! Also on the topic of fight animes, the Fate series is super great if you haven't watched that already. Start with Fate/zero, then Fate/stay night, and then Fate/stay night: Unlimited Bladeworks. Unlimited Bladeworks is the best show I have ever seen from anime, american shows, movies, and just TV in general, by far my favorite show right now and the fight scenes and visuals in it are amazing, especially unlimited Bladeworks

"Don't look back" as Marrow looks back. Pretty spot on.
yo you're here bro?
Thank you for the approval Mr. Black.
Hello there!!
It's so crazy to look back at what they have gone though, all the people they lost, all the hardships, all the battles, and just to see how much they have grown as people and as fighters. That's why I love this show so much.
And then you get people bitching about how they never grow but your right they do and have seriously gone through so much over the years
I feel the same way too that I love this show so much.
My god, why are you so UNDERRATED? 😭😭
The song goes great with the editing and the show...
What an emotional rollercoaster lol. Amazing AMV work.
Thanks!
AHHHHH I LOVE THIS SONG

Hi how are you doing?
Doing alright, you?
I'mStrange I’m fine so what are you going to do for the next whole month since RWBY is on break for until February 6
@@samanthabaker8711 I'll just keep making videos in the same way I normally do. Probably more than the last few weeks to fill the gap of rwby content.
