Definitely planning on it. Not only will it make my commute to in-person classes a bit easier, but it’ll also open up the amount of places I can go for dinner haha. Good looks!
What he didn’t mention: Gen Ed’s are insanely difficult if you’re stem, get a scooter if you want cheap transportation for 4 years for $2.50 a week, get ready for left leaning ideology in every course you take throughout your college career.
@@beautifullykayla my sister goes and she was telling me she was disappointed bc to her it was right leaning (not the classes, the ppl) so if u want right leaning u should be fine
@@beautifullykayla It really depends, in general, most higher institutions tend to have faculty with left-leaning ideologies. However, a school like UF has a student body with mixed political beliefs and a high amount being right-leaning. I don't know how Zach came to that conclusion, but it may just be a biased interpretation/experience.
Hello there was just curious about how hard It is to get into UF. I have a 1420 sat, 4.41 weighted gpa have taken about 13 ap/aice classes. Founder of DECA (placed 8th internationally), VP of HOSA, VP of DKMS, national qualifier for chemistry Olympiad, NHS member, 200 volunteer hours, member of mu alpha theta (tutored math). Are my chances pretty solid. I’m currently a senior.
That’s a great question. I actually have a video planned where I sit down with one of my friends who transferred and discuss her experience. Any specific questions you’d have for her?
@@Galbra1th What about transferring for my senior year as I want to go to grad school there? Also will be walking on to the football team next August for my senior year.
If you’re currently at an inferior school then I think that’s a smart move. It ultimately gets you a degree from UF without having to be here for 4 years. It also definitely gives you an advantage when applying for UF grad schools.
@@Galbra1th Currently at FAU, so, yeah a bit inferior I would say haha, and I will be hopefully going for my masters in Finance at UF. Thanks for the help man!!
Hey! How was the college experience w covid and all? My friend is doing a year abroad at uf and I’ll be visiting her in october just in time for a fb game (which is in my bucketlist lol) but I’m worried i wont get the whole american college spirit and football experience bc of it! How do you think is going to be? (Btw im from spain and always wanted to have that experience!)
Hey! I actually made a video a few weeks ago discussing what I expect UF to be like this upcoming fall. Definitely check that out for a full detailed answer haha!
all the videos about universities are about the social aspect man that's the least important aspect I would like to know how the classes are and if one if going the actually learn
Realistically most colleges above a certain tier have a very similar curriculum, so what really makes them stand apart is their social aspect / alumni network. UF is great on all ends of the spectrum.
Guy at 3:45 looking kinda yolked
The guy in the yellow tank? Agreed!
I would recommend a scooter. Mainly if slightly off campus. I just graduated and really enjoyed the last yr when I got a scooter
Definitely planning on it. Not only will it make my commute to in-person classes a bit easier, but it’ll also open up the amount of places I can go for dinner haha. Good looks!
crazy that i just so happened to be searching for a video like this right now! :) thanks so much for the info!
Guess it was meant to be haha. Happy to help!
im staying in beaty this fall! i was glad to hear you say it was a social dorm because i was hearing mixed things
Have fun! Yeah I think it kinda depends on who’s in your floor / building, but because it is so big it increases your chances of it being social!

Pretty accurate lol
left leaning ideology is a big no no for me. i’m no longer sure if this school is for me lol

Well I did not get my Bachelors, then my DDS degree for being social. I went to school to study not socialize. I said the same things to my kids.
You sound like fun!
@@Galbra1th A bundle of joy!
What would have happened if you took the Universe space course of astronomy twice and made an A+?
Great video can you share the gen eds you recommend?

UF is definitely getting very challenging to get into, but these are solid stats! Great job!
What other things would you like to know before starting at UF?
some more about greek life, pros/cons, does it affect academics? thanks
I'm from the North East, so I'm wondering what clothes to bring for the weather/ events that will take place? thanks :)
Thank you for taking the time and sharing good advice. What are the easy Quest 1 (Humanities) Classes?
Great question! I’ll definitely cover this in a future vid. Stay tuned.
DM me on IG @Galbra1th and I can help you figure out how to navigate the gen eds.
Thanks for the info. Which dorm would you advise for my daughter coming from France for her first year at UF ?
Happy to help! I think one on campus and in a busier area is always more fun and allows you to meet more people! Broward/Jennings
@@Galbra1th Merci beaucoup !
Amazing vid.🤩
I want to join this university for research based phD in engineering domain,it is good one or I've to look others ?
Thank you!!
I don’t know much about the PhD programs but I know our engineering school is great!
Dude, didn't you come to Chipotle like every day? I used to work there.
Yes! Chipotle is definitely my go-to spot in Gainesville haha
Great info! Thanks for sharing
Thank you!!

Hey, I got into innovate , should I still go to UF ? I’m out of state btw and for business
I don’t think Innovation Academy is really considered less than UF. If UF is your best option I would say go with it. Don’t be deterred by Innovation
Discovering the universe sounds amazing.
It sounds great, but the class itself is unfortunately less than ideal
@@Galbra1th May go for Intro to Cinema.
Dawg so tough I literally had just signed up for ast1002😭
Hahaha not too late to switch
Nooo not the scooter
Haha
