I’m aroace- IK I’m on the spectrum but idk where exactly so I’m keeping at aroace but I have to say you portrayed her perfectly! We need more Cupiosexual Mina in the fandom- there’s rarely any work! I tried coming out to my parents and friends twice but they kept saying that I haven’t found the right person yet or that I’m too young. (Am not- I’m in college!) it gets frustrating hearing the same thing and with my conservative family talking about whether I’m ever going to get married or have kids when I’m older is even more frustrating! Can they just not expect a girl to feel these kind of emotions? I get girls can be hopeless romantics at times but the only time I feel whatever people describe romantic attraction as is whenever I see my ships!

I have the same experience except I have been in very few relationships as a teenager(I'm only 18 though), my last relationship with someone was very sexually attracted to me(I expressed that I was asexual to the guy) and that made me feel like I may want to and desire a relationship with someone and find them aestheticly pleasing but I honestly don't think I want a relationship with someone, I am a person who is neurodivergent and am on the higher(high functioning iff that didn't make sense) side to autism and I have only been in relationship that only ended after about a week(not by me though, the person always broke up with me or something after a few days), I also have touch deprivation(kinda because of the neurodivergent sensory stuff), and the fact that i only have one friend who i barely talk to and never see, makes me desire some type of relationship 😅
Poor baby, in this hc me and Bakugo actually had the same experience, my whole life I never really had a crush on anyone and since all my friends had a crush I lied about having one 😅 but now I have a partner and I also get to understand people who are like this so really it's a win win

Being aromantic is a complicated experience and this fits the feelings really well.
I'm on the spectrum, I'm not full-on aroace so both Mina's and Bakugou's feelings resonated with me.
For a long time I didn't feel a romantic connection to anybody growing up, even if I tried to, it never felt right, even when I ended up having crushes, I wasn't sure I was interested in having an actual relationship either.
I didn't start having crushes until like 7th grade and I've only had two in my entire lifetime.
