I had a rooster which roamed free on my roof all day and all around the neighborhood he has a habit to return back to his cage at dusk. He loved me so much that he used to become sad when i don't see him for 1 day. He never left and never ran away until one day a big cat attacked him while he was sleeping and locked in his cage he became so scared that he had fallen ill few days after the attack without any wound. I tried everything but he passed away 20 days later. I remember that one day before his death he was not opening his eyes but when i woke up at morning he suddenly opened his eyes and looked at me for a while, i was happy to see him like this but he dies 5 minutes later. I realized he wanted to see me for the last time. He will be missed forever. My little friend 2017-2023.

I looked for her everywhere but just couldnt find her💔
Most of the time I kept them out of the cage...The only time I caged them was when I Filmed them So don't feel sad...there weren't abused by any from or means
I have 4 and they live in a cage in our rooftop(2months old).. unlike yours i never let them out after they turned one month old because they learned how to fly. Im afraid they'll fly in the neighbors house or in the road. When i let them out I'll put on a leash on them so they'll be safe.. plus there's a lot of stray cat on our place that jump from roof to roof of houses. 2 of the chick i used to have already got eaten by cats.
You can not lock the chicks in such a small cage ... And they need more space and earth to scratch. It does not surprise me that one has disappeared ...
@@birdweek3112 my chick is sadly locked cause I have 1 cicken and 1 rooster and their chicks and everytime I let my chick (4-5 months old) they start to fight each other... Im thinking about moving older chicken and rooster
They were not locked inside the cage 24/7 The only times they were in the was when I was taking a video shot of them and during the night And rest of the time they were outside of the cage And these are poultry animals...they can't live on their own see...hens are not humans , they never left They jumped off my roof hens love to explore , they roam all around...they saw my pigeons jumping off from my roof and they decided to give it a try as well ! as far my understanding
