We were there many times, Royal used to go there all the time, then they stopped going. We were so happy when we found out the Wonder was going there. It hasn’t lost its beauty, we love Labadee, it is a beautiful port with a great beach!
I won’t go to any of these compounds of opulence in a third world hell. Wonderful people being severely oppressed and in extreme poverty. I am sure that any profit gotten by this compound benefits the average citizen about .00001%. I prefer neighboring Dominican Republic. Where you can actually experience the country and it’s true beauty and people without a compound of make believe opulence.
What’s happening is actually in one part and that is Port au Prince. Haiti has 10 departments- Labadee is about 3-4 hours drive away from the violence in the capital.
Loved your video. New subscriber. Labadee is BEAUTIFUL. Haiti is BEAUTIFUL 🎉 My family is from Haiti-the politics are sad but there great people and beautiful people there! God bless you both! Happy New Year. We just did Virgin Voyage and loved it. Wished Labadee was on their itinerary
IT IS? It’s people are but the country is anything but beautiful. Hurricanes, earthquakes, poverty, extreme oppression, deforestation stripping the land. This is beautiful?? I feel for the people that are beautiful and just trying to barely survive. You are seeing an isolated compound of a make believe paradise in the video. And it benefits the privileged and corrupt “officials”. And a handful of people that work there for very little.
Oh, thanks to COVID it's been a few years since I was able to cruise in the Caribbean - this video has made me miss it SO MUCH! Hopefully I'll be back on your side of the Atlantic in 2023!
Sat at the same spot when were in Labadee this past summer. Walked so far to get a place to sit. The island was beautiful bit the water was so rocky and had a very bad seaweed problem. Loved it there though. Hope the hurricane doesn't do too much damage.
Loved Labadee. Want to go back. Was signed up to do the zip line and got thru the baby zip (so fun), only to get to the top of the mountain and they shut it down cuz of wind. Sooo of course have to go back just to try that again! Beautiful area. I wished we'd explored more!
Tortuga is an island that forms part of Haiti off the northwest coast of Hispaniola, that during the 17th century was a stronghold for piracy operating throughout the Caribbean.
I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos from this trip. Thanks for sharing great and helpful content into TH-cam. My wife and I have sailed on Harmony and Allure, and have never considered dinner at the Solarium. We’re schedule on Harmony again this October. Will we need to make reservations for dinner at the Solarium?
Went on our first cruise and it really wasn’t much to enjoy. We weren’t paying for a cabana, etc. the chairs were in bad condition. Your video shows it far prettier than in 2019
I'm Haitian and I went to Labadee with Royal Caribbean 2-3 weeks ago. I just wished they allowed Haitians to make food for the guests. Jerk chicken is not Haitian food. It's hard for other cultures to make our foods for some reason. There is a Haitian restaurant on the island and I asked the staff to bring me food. The food was amazing and well seasoned
These are the tourist areas. Most of Haiti is in major turmoil with gang wars and survival. All of the trash from these tourist places literally cover many areas. The capital has some of the highest kidnappings in all of Haiti. The G-PEP and G9 have checkpoints all over the island, but sure there are $4000 night rooms in the tourist areas. It’s just like Jamaica and many places on the coast of Mexico. Money needs invested into people. Literally the average wage is $3.50 USD daily. The money you spent does not go to the people of Haiti. Most Haitians can’t afford to eat that steak. It’s beautiful there just like many many many places that are in desperation.
That’s why I’m here. Many people sayin it’s Hell, this video looks like Heaven. Guess it’s certain parts, just like everywhere else. You have ya good neighborhoods and you have ya bad neighborhoods.
As we add Labadee to our must visit list. Is it a pain bringing your drone on board? We’ve always wanted to but didn’t want to deal with getting it from holding before we go to port.
Enjoyed the footage from labadee it has been almost 4 years since we had gone their we are planning to go on Oasis of the sea on November, one question are they allowing drones to be flown away from people just the outer parts of the Island. Thanks for this video
You can fly a drone there? Ill be there in August and i really want to get some footage with drone for my TH-cam photography channel. I subbed, by the way.
We have been to Labadee many times. We loved it before they built up the island and we used to tender there. It was such a beautiful, untouched island.
Hey guys. Is does look like a gorgeous day. Umbrellas in the water. Food looks yummy. But I like wet jerk chicken 😂. Ooh. A water show. Glad you had a nice day. Thanks for sharing and see you next video.
HELLO FAMILY! What a BEAUTIFUL VIEW in Labadee - you all do such an awesome job with these vlogs. The food always look so yummy! Baby "G" must be having a great yum yum time!. Always stay safe and healthy - MAMA BROOKS! :)
awesome! We will be there in 10 days, yay. Just hope the 4,000 prinoners that escaped don't decide to come out for a day at the beach.

Labadee is one of Royal's best beaches!! We love it there....been there several times.
Good to know!

They still go there! Going in December with royal
How is the rest of the country looking these days?
Port au Prince is bad but the rest of the country is decent.
Pretty unreal when you know what's happening in the rest of the country.
And even more surreal when you barely visit the rest of the country and comment on it
That’s why you tip really well to the fortunate people that works there

SHOCKINGLY BEAUTIFUL...can you guys believe HOW GOREGOUS Labadee Haiti is after all this time? Have you been here?
Will be visiting Labadee for the first time on my 11/13 sailing on Odyssey of the Seas
Yes, I have been to Labadee. Haiti is known as “La Perle des Antilles.” It’s like stepping back in time.
Labadee got nothing on au cayes or au cape
Your footage of Labadee is definitely giving Paradise vibes!!! Absolutely love all the turquoise beauty
Yes! Thank you!

Your drone work is absolutely beautiful! The Travel Channel should hire you!
Thank u!

I agree Haiti is beautiful just depends on what part your on :)

Good evening to everyone!
Thank you very much
Labadee is so beautiful! I'm ready to go back again!
Hey it would be really cool if you included the name of the ship in the video details. Sorry if it's there and I'm just blind...
I’ve yet to get to Haiti. But it’ll happen. That lamb looked amazing!!!!
it was so good!

love Labadee!
We loved going on the zip line in 2018! The floating bar was really cool and just a nice chill day!
Congrats to you both. Alyssa you are glowing. Thanks for taking on your Journey to parenthood🥰
Thank you so much!!
Labadee was my first destination in 2001- it is one of the most beautiful places. Along with Bimini❤
We shaved so much money not having Wi-Fi on the ship our last cruise by using 2-way radios. Worked very well on the island and ship.
Loved Labadee. Want to go back. Was signed up to do the zip line and got thru the baby zip (so fun), only to get to the top of the mountain and they shut it down cuz of wind. Sooo of course have to go back just to try that again! Beautiful area. I wished we'd explored more!
The views are beautiful. Thanks
Was there two days ago with the Allure and loved it!
Beautiful, thank you for sharing!❤💙💕
You are so welcome
Went there back in 2010 in Allure of the seas. It was really bad... hope they have made changes since I will be passing by next November.
Haiti 🇭🇹 ❤️💯
The best beach on Labadee with shade and a nice bottom when you get in the water is Columbus Cove Beach. Its on the side where you can see the ship
What camera do you guys use?
Labadee is so much better than when I was there years ago...loved the swings at the bar 🍸
It really is!
😊I am happy when you visit my country😊😊
Beautiful destination! Never been there! Will look for that stop on my next cruise that I book after the one I go on on Nov! Thanks for sharing!
Griff what drone did you have I haven’t bought one in some years. Love the look of the footage you got.
Mavic Air 2s

Looks amazing, cant wait to go ! How much did it cost you to rent the chairs and umbrella on the beach?
The chairs and umbrellas are free. The only seating you need to pay for are the cabanas, and the price varies depending on location and sailing. :)
I was there in August and was told not to get off the ship by other cruisers but you know I didn’t listen to them Lol, beautiful island
Thank you guys for sharing, I look forward to your video's. /hug

I’m with you. That’s brown stew chicken. Love a dry rub jerk chicken. Best I ever had was in Jamaica.
Labadee looked lovely. Where you were . You looking so pretty Alyssa ( glow of pregnancy 😜)
Have a Good week 🥰
Thank you! You too!
This portion of Haiti is owned by the Royal Caribbean cruise line. They have a lease on the land for 100 years.
Which excursion is this?😊
we really enjoyed Labadee when we were there ...and love the Labadozees too!
so so so good!
So many cool hideaway spots in Labadee!

It's because you people make cookies out of dirt. That's why.
@@Deadassbruhfrfr that’s an ignorant thing to said plus it’s not cookie dude it’s clay. What are you trying to prove with such an abasing comments.

Should we be concerned of the situation in Haiti
That’s why I’m here. Many people sayin it’s Hell, this video looks like Heaven. Guess it’s certain parts, just like everywhere else. You have ya good neighborhoods and you have ya bad neighborhoods.
Port au prince is where you dont wanns go to but the north side of haiti is good
Western countries do not want to see places like Haiti and Africa rise..
I'm sure we can figure out WHY...
Labadee looks great, thanks for this video! Going there in March on Odyssey 🙌
Hope you enjoy it!
Because Labadee is not really Haiti….it’s a privately run extension of the cruise ship.
We went on Allure of the Seas in 2016. Humid as anything, but beautiful.
Damn I love cruises!
Love this ❤
Can i use my drone when i go here?
If you had to choose would you pick labadee or costa maya/Cozumel trying to book our next cruise and I'm torn between both
Do you want to be able to stumble 20 feet off the resort and not get murdered or kidnapped?
Maybe you should stick to Mexico
Were going there soon! Is there any free beach?
Yes!
where did you get those sunglasses from alyssa
As we add Labadee to our must visit list. Is it a pain bringing your drone on board? We’ve always wanted to but didn’t want to deal with getting it from holding before we go to port.
pretty easy for me!
Beautiful camera work!
Thank you very much!
Enjoyed it, but what was the SHOCKING footage?
What was the shocking footage?
That’s what I was wondering but I believe they meant to continue the description by saying it’s shockingly BEAUTIFUL! but that was no shocker to me 😂❤
This is why I will never subscribe.
The title also stated that this is what they don’t show on TV
This is not reflective of actual Haiti, It’s a secured area leased by a cruise company. It’s shocking to suggest otherwise

Stunningly beautiful
That looks beautiful. I've been to Nassau, that might be my next location. If the weather and safety allows for it.
Labadee is not an island but a fenced off section for tourists only. If is nothing like Hait
I've been to Port-au-Prince.
Sitting there right now
Labadee a great experience but a lot of haggling from the sales folk hindered the experience for us.
You can fly a drone there? Ill be there in August and i really want to get some footage with drone for my TH-cam photography channel.

Just to educate you it’s not actually an Island it’s a section of land from Haiti.
Labadee has many beaches. Which one did u go to😮
Ok it’s like going to Hawaii and saying this is not what I thought or was shown about America.
What part of beach is this? They have 4 beaches
This amazing
You can fly your drone in labadee?
Our cruise is this December and we are trying to figure out if we can fly our drone in labadee and get a few footage.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Maybe I'll do the cruise to Labadee one day.
Labadee - door to hell..behind the gated resorts is hell. Cheers for your "Labadoozie"
What part of Labadee is that floating bar in?
It’s located on Adrenaline Beach near the back of the property.
Latin cuisine is rice & beans and Jamaican rice and peas and if course it’s all good 👍🏽 tfs all the tips
You are so welcome
Love Labadee!!
BTW, your drone shots are beautiful!
Glad you like them!

WOW NICE👍
To all the people complaining about how there are few opportunities to give back, Royal Caribbean is for tourists not volunteers.
The timing of this video is really out of touch and tacky.
Haiti has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but not developed.
I'd be happy 😊
Labadee was a fort
They let you fly your own drone right now
Im confused, they said " shocking footage" what exactly is shocking??
