Looked like a blast! Liked the way you hear that picker in the bottom of the pan⛏️⛏️👍
Smart Idea 💡 with the green mini in your regular box to get rid of those rocks!
Perfect timing. I was revisiting your zip line video this morning (I’m in the process of setting up a variation on that), and I thought you were about to do another one. 😂 that is, until I saw you wheel the hose down the embankment. 😂. Great stuff, Bryan. Thanks for continuing to put these videos together.
Hi Bryan, GTSY! Eco-dredging. It is environmentally friendly and economical. It's smart and quiet. All around, it's a winner. WTG! Thanks.
Bryan, that is some pretty gold. So yellow and beautiful. Gotta get more of that!
Ah so your alive and well am glad we need more content of dreding bud
Oh Heavypans right there Bryan, I’ve seen those RPE sluices running full river speed just dumping buckets and fetching super fine flour gold, it can handle the water you got going 100% 🤙🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸
Another good video Bryan, I always look forward to seeing that notification about your latest adventures.
Wicked! I spent a few days at coos campground 2 weeks ago. Crazy how much the river has changed this year. I wanted to go check out the spot i showed you on lidar but all the logging roads were closed due to washouts. Great vid.....leave me some gold!
When I get back maybe we can get to it with my ATV and dirt bike!
That looks like fun Bryan, great job as always. Nice lookin gold.
Man you can tell how much fun you are having messing with different configurations. Good stuff!
Awesome idea if ya got a small waterfall.. the highbanker would work great!! I just built one out of an antique small enamel tub.. has a 4" inlet so I could use the dredge motor.. I bet that would've worked great!! Awesome vid Brotha
Let it be known I am 2nd comment, here in under five minutes and 9th like 😂😂 Let’s Go Bryan! I need more paydirt lol😂
Hey Bryan, I suggest increasing the angle of the sluice to allow rocks to flow out. Gushing water over the box will blow out the gold. Your rifles will easily handle a 10-degree pitch. My Gold Rattler operates at 12 degrees and far less water. Give it a try ? 👍 Also, if can get a hold of some punch plate, it will make more slick than that metal grating.
Great video bro, I really appreciate it because I’ve been thinking about setting up a gravity dredge for a long while. After watching numerous videos, most of them encounter a lot of problems. I think in the ideal situation it could work but rally have to have the perfect spot and enough hose, nice gold!
I think the full length punch plate is your issue! Maybe just try having it over the first top carpet section then after that just riffels and moss?
Perhaps some gold collected in the ribs of the flex pipe or you could line the pipe with miners moss. Wonder how yo could check it out. Might end up being the mother of all sluices. It`s very entertaining watching videos of people going out hunting for gold. I want some too.
@@Fdeubcfhbbjhfd perhaps turn the pipe inside out and try it and see what happens?
Could use some of the flexible corrugated plastic drainage/agriculture pipe. I think some of it comes with a split down the middle so you could pry it open for a peek.
You need to set the box up so yr still getting river current aswell and dam it up as you do that will add to the syphon
Reduce the size of the pipe start with a 4 inch at the box then go to 3inch and a 2 inch with a 2inch nozzle
2 inch wouldn't move enough material for me. 4 inch is the smallest I'll use.
Curious if you set it back together and had that bigger sluice at a steeper angle but under water. Have the water in the rapids over the sides completely see if that works. Smaller sluice is the easy answer.
Did you find any more gold in the riffles of the corrugated hose or does it clean itself out pretty well?
Would adding a flare on intake help?
I imagine if you used a box flare and could mount a smaller pipe in front to “ dump “ the workings into it- that would add flow AND prevent clogs!
Hi Brian. I Love gravity dredging. We found that it is best to remove the nozzle and let the line breathe from time to time to maximize the flow rate and let it clear the box. Also we used a crash box on our sluice instead of a flare. It's works great with 4 ft min of fall. The problem with gravity is when a rock gets on the end of the nozzle it slows the flow way down. You can't hog material, you have to sip it. Name of the game is to keep max flow at all times with the occasional let her run free time. Love watching your videos. Wish you all the best.
Smooth pipe also works best for gravity feed.
Great advice ime
Would using 4in pipe as the supply, but necked down to supply pressure to a 3in suction nozzle or even a 2in be better or make no difference at all?
@@El-Diablo-Blanconecked down would increase the pressure Dow stream, but would clog quickly.
Good info, thanks!
