    I am struggling to find the case of someone who was charged for breach of the peace for simply swearing in public but the judge ruled that swearing alone is not a breach of the peace I would like this for reference as I’ve been threatened by police previously if you could help me?

    Just confirm, is breach of the peace only when somebody is being violent or likely to be violent? So loud music, for instance, isn't breach of the peace? Or like if someone had a really loud dog barking all night? Sorry, I'm just trying to get my head around it's exact definition

      noise usually is not a police issue and police can not take action. council regularly take action with your examples.
