- Even though our stop at the Queen City truck stop in Meridian Mississippi was a quick one it was great to see one of the last Mom and Pop's left on the interstate. enjoy this trip from Birmingham Alabama all the way to Sanger Texas.

How sweet it is. Arrived, checked in with shipping, immediately got a door, and was unloaded. That was a lot of freight! Love the video.
We stopped there yesterday after getting our truck repaired across the street. Good food and my 1st taste of fried green tomatoes!
Great video jack. Great state of Mississippi is where I call home. Queen city truck stop has pretty good groceries also. Safe travels.

My very first truck stop that I spent the night at. Me and my trainer back when I started driving trucks! Great food, both breakfast and dinner!

I'm too old. Got out of it sooner than I should have and watching Indiana Jack's videos makes me wish in retrospect I'd stayed with it. I drove OTR a very short time, then started local and close regional. The snow and ice scared me, and looking back conquering that would have been no different than anything else. Just DO it. I wish ya luck Dave. Were I ten younger I'd be right withya.

Good turn in that dirt lot where ya spent the night. Pick up that took 4 hrs but it had a big sign Shipping Office & nice sized blacktop to back up to the building. Trip went well & in the nick of time. Perfection.

this 1981 KW Aerodine and a 1980 KW was sold in 1988 and i drove a tour bus for about 4yrs then did security for social security here in salisbury n.c. and i retired about 4yrs ago and like it. the 2 KW were leased to KLM-KLLM for 8yrs and enjoyed trucking for them. talked to you later

Hey trucker(s), 105 in Alabama wow. Saw a trucker in North Carolina this week, expected snow there, 32 i thought, just like in Holland. It's only 550 mls from you. Big difference. The world looks different in bright sunshine. That's for sure! Brighter footage to. Nice. See yah.

Hey Jack, one of your software engineer fans here with an unsolicited recommendation on searching the load board: Blank out the Weight parameter (arrow key to the start of the field and hit delete) or put in as many 9s as the field will allow. Then sort the output by weight either ascending or descending.
I realy enjoy your videos and admire your driving skills, as you can get your truck into spaces I would think twice about with my car!... and you always seem to be so calm, despite many irritations.

Vaguely familiar place you picked up at reminds me of a place I did a drop/hook at in Birmingham not long ago.

That parking lot reminded me of the Greasy Spoon Cafe's in the UK back in the 60s. they were mom and pop business's. the parking would only get repaired if a tipper truck driver had a bit of spare asphalt or crushed stone. The lunches would be of the home cook variety, the breakfast eggs, bacon, bangers, and a big dollop of bubble squeak.

Bubble and Squeak WE have a roast dinner on Sundays and cook extra mashed potatoes and green veg. This would be served again on Monday as cold sliced meat, pickles the mash spud mixed with some veg fried in butter till the out side gets nice and brown and crunchy. Man it's one of my favorite meals. B&S also served with an English breakfast is very yummy.
My mother was a very good cook plus she never wasted food, having had to take care of a family on WW11 rationing.
So cook up a mess of spuds and green veg mash is together and see if you agree.
I love this channel.
Someone may have posted it already, but the closest thing to the Super Star with Cheese is the Hardee's Double Cheeseburger. Some people just don't get it unfortunately....sigh....Keep up the great videos Jack!

Hi Jack, I've been a subscriber to your TH-cam channel for about a year now. I really enjoy watching your videos. I live in Grimsby, Ontario Canada, do you drive to Canada to either pick up a load or take a load to a receiver i Canada? I have 2 chronic lower back pain conditions, Lumbar Spinal Stenosis and Degenerative Disc Disease and Osteoarthritis in both of my knees and in my hips. I can't sleep most nights because of my chronic pain so I binge watch your videos. Binge watching your videos helps me get through the sleepless nights and helps me forget about my pain. Thank you for making your videos, You rock dude!!

Driver, there is a Flying J in the Dallas/Ft. Worth right off I-20. Top of the ramp, take right, then left right into the J. There are a couple more but they are small.

A few miles down the highway, they got another independent truck stop called spaceway. Pretty decent and cheap diesel
+Thaer Banibaker I think that one has real slanted parking spots. But I guess it would be okay for just a quick stop in and out.

Next time you spill some acid, get some baking soda with some water mix it together and smear it on whatever the acid landed on, wait a bit and rinse it off with plain water. The baking soda will neutralize the acid so it wont eat through anything. Baking soda is dirt cheap and you can get it any where. It also absorbs funky odors, you can brush your teeth with it if need be. Works great in laundry to freshen clothes. It has endless uses for it, so if you buy a box, none will go to waste.

hey Jack do you have trouble with your knees? I've been driving semi since 1978 and burned out my knees and hips 6 new knees and 6 hips I have owned my own trucks so I'd go back to work within a week of surgery, anyway just wishing you the best if your knees are fried. love your videos

Just wondering Jack why is it when you are getting ready to leave, and you apply the air you always hold it till you start moving. It will stay once you apply it right. Just curious didn't know if there was a certain reason. Love all your videos my dad is a retired truck driver and i wished that he would have documented his runs like you do. He has been retired now for 25 years now so I know the didn't have the good cameras like there is now. He drove for 43 years all over the US. Great job keep up the good work.
The Spaceway Truck Stop just a little farther west on I-20 is a much better stop and cheaper fuel too.

I always end up with that same problem when ever I pull out onto a street or hyway, traffic will none when I go to leave and before I get to the end of the drive way traffic just piles up on me and I have to sit for so long ehhh
Jack is that just sound off cameras or something else? or I am going crazy? Posters love this one post but I am not driving for Uber right now too :) But sound like new steering pump whining. if I am right it is called cavitation, air entering hyd system and will burn up your new steering pump. maybe loose fitting? they make little noise but that sound kind of loud to me?
