What is the difference between base and index addressing modes??

base register are used in base and index registers in index

In indexed Addressing mode You use SI OR DI (SOURCE INDX, DESTINATION INDX)
whereas BASE ADD MODE you have to use (BP BASE POINTER OR BX )
