It's crazy how well Geri harmonizes with Mel B in the chorus. Geri's about to take the second place position from Victoria after "Viva Forever" and likely keep it with "The Lady Is a Vamp". I'm really happy for Victoria as she went from being barely featured to more prominent. I hope she doesn't end up last again when it's all said and done but it seems like a potential possibility. Emma has been last quite a bit for this album, this like her third song being last. I'm surprised Mel B fell 4th but them ad-libs from Mel C understandably dethroned her. Good job dude!
Always loved this song. It’s so chill and I can definitely hear it in a lounge late at night. Absolutely loved Mel B’s parts, Victoria’s lower register in the hook and chorus, and Mel C’s adlibs towards the end. These 3 owned this song IMO

Geri couldn’t sing nor dance. She wasn’t underrated. She was overrated in my opinion because of her personality. Victoria was always labeled the weakest and it was honestly Geri. She just had a big personality to cover it up.

Geri added something to the group with her personality, she gave it some of it's most iconic moments, and she was the creative vision behind the Spice Girls, and you can see that by her solo career. Eclipsa - I don’t disagree at all. Geri and Mel B were two great personalities of the SGs. And they had a lot to offer in other areas that were just as important as the actual singing. They all brought something different to the table and that’s why I’ve loved them since day 1. I just don’t like when some “fans” try to give Victoria the short end of the stick and call her talentless because she too brought a sense of glamour and mystery to the group that none other offered, and she was a weak vocalist, but certainly not the worst.

Denying always felt like the weak link of the album for me. Mel B's rap is really cringe. Walk of Life sounded much stronger and should have made the album instead.
