@@traceytelgen in wundervoll = yes wonderful. I love the effecrs, the techniques...very very good. Liebe Grüße von Kerstin aus Berlin, aus Deutschland...from Germany.
Thank you! I think a stamp should work if you have a dark enough ink or a white or metallic ink. If you stamp first then your ink will need to be waterproof. Let me know if you give it a try!😃❄️💙❄️
What a beautiful idea. Using a white pen for the tree shapes might be also nice and worth a try. Thank you for this video (I enjoyed the beautifulmusic too) and have a nice Christmas time.🎄🎁 Greetings from Germany! 😊
OMG! I LOVE this new technique! I’m going to try it! It might look like a hurricane hit but I’m still going to try it. Thanks for all of your lessons! I’m having fun learning.
Tracey, I really like this technique. The salt adds a lot of texture. Plus, it's a simple piece of artwork, but so pleasant to look at. Thanks again! Diana
@@traceytelgen Yes I did enjoy it, and your other videos, I'm trying to find my style, and very much like ink and wash, you are helping me a lot. thank you.
That is just the prettiest picture! A winter wonderland for sure! I have never seen someone use two kinds of salt. Thank you for sharing, I thought I would be sad today without your 12 Days and this popped up!
Thank you for your lovely comment. So happy I could help brighten your day. 😀 The Himalayan salt is bigger, so it soaks up more paint and creates a larger snow effect.😀
This piece is just magical! Does the kind of salt affect the results! I have only course kosher salt? What a talent you have!!! In every video i am just in awe of your deep understanding of color, mixing colors(with great success) pairing colors, etc.
Thank you! I haven't used kosher salt, but I imagine it will produce a larger snow effect. The salt soaks up the paint beneath and surrounding it. So, I believe a bigger piece will soak up more. At least, that was my experience with the Himalayan salt. I am giving away my age, but I have been learning and producing art since elementary school and started taking it more seriously in high school. I graduated college as a library technician and have worked in a library for over 20 years. I decided a few years ago that I needed to make use of my artistic skills.😃💙🩵💙
@@traceytelgen I appreciate you sharing this with me. That’s encouraging. Maybe if i put in more effort, my skills will improve too. I know i learn a lot by watching your videos.
I am pleased that you are learning from my videos. That means a lot to me. The 2 most important things that I have learned over the years are practice and patience. These will get you to where you want to be with your art. 🙂
I just found this video. I have been playing with ideas for cards and this one hit home in many ways. So simple yet reinforced a number of techniques. Thank you!
