I thhink the "7 seconds" line is going to somehow tie into Cloud's final moment w/Aerith. Sephiroth had to choose between saving Rosen and everyone else. Cloud is currently stuck in a dream world where Aerith lives. His sanity/perception of reality/Sephiroth's power hinges on whether or not he can accept her death. I think there's gonna be a huge moment in part 3 where Cloud has to choose between clinging to his wishful dreams of Aerith and letting her go to save the world
I think the Edge of Creation Sephiroth, is a Sephiroth that actually wants to help Cloud and save him from Jenova Sephiroth that's why he does not want him to die, cus he probably wants Cloud to help him get rid of Jenova Sephiroth, and maybe save everyone in the process like Rosen told him to do.
10:23 I think Sephiroth may have been a little annoyed that he just fought that monster so the troops could evacuate and then the press officer just took off in the wrong direction.

The way Aerith and Sephiroth are polar opposites, Cloud and Sephiroth are the same. Cloud is going to have to die to end Sephiroth. But I want Sephiroth to just end up being the hero. Fuck Cloud.

Sephiroth said: “I will not end, nor will I have you end”… Maybe Sephiroth is planning to save them both, to save the planet from Jenova.. but Aerith’s death is inevitable for that.. (yeah I’m corrupted but hopeful)
