Now let's be realistic
1. AIFF won't increase any budget until SAI increases the allocation and it seems unlikely because they are obviously targeting those investments which pays off unlike football .
2. AIFF are cash strapped , we all know that . Stimac's compensation and lack of sponsors means they will try to cut down on salary. Expect them to hire someone within a salary range from 15 to 20K USD .
3. Park Hang Seo does not have a magical wand . Neither he speaks English. There will be huge communication issues . I'm not saying coaches with translators always fail . But chances are high .He might not even be able to give an effective presentation during coach interviews.
If 2 and 3 are really true then we are screwed for sure...it's really frustrating now. All these poiltics and jhamela. I mean does government really want to support Indian football. I feel like we fans will donate 10 rupees each and use that contribution for the better of Indian football.
Not to mention, there is still the legal battle with Igor Stimac. This is going to be a turbulent period for AIFF.

Tbh, I don't think we should invest so much in the salary of Senior team head coach. Instead, we should have a coach with a decent salary, who has a record of delivering results despite all odds. e.g. Habas, Lobera, Westwood, etc. As we all know investing hugely only in the senior team will take us nowhere. With whatever money we save from here, we should appoint a foreign coach for atleast the U-17 team.

It would definitely be great to have a top level coach for the national team, but I feel considering the current situation in Indian football, spending insane amounts of money on the coach is not a great idea. It can cripple the budget for other needs and expenses. Although coach is an important piece of the puzzle to growth of Indian football, investing more money grassroots level development mind be a better idea. If things are like how Stimac told, where there is problem getting players available for national camps, bringing any coach wouldn’t help. But resolving other issues can definitely help India grow in the coming years.

And the best player is Lalthankima from Mizoram Team. He is being called to attend Indian Camp in Goa for the trial yet he is not selected for tha Indian Team. I wonder why organise NFC U-20 Championship but the best player is not selected in the camp? So lame
