Finally, a new Harp Twins IRON MAIDEN cover! As you might know, we love a challenge. So, yes, we took on probably our most challenging Maiden arrangement yet - and still on only two harps! We recorded this track on our electro-acoustic Concert Grand harps, but filmed the video with our smaller electric harps because we couldn’t bring our concert grands into the sand. The exposed mechanics in the harp base would be ruined by the sand, and we had to hike up some serious dunes to get to our epic filming location! Speaking of sand, the wind when we were filming was absolutely insane. The sand was being whipped up at us the whole shoot. If you look closely, you can see the waves of sand sweeping across the dunes around us. Our costumes were inspired by Isis, the Egyptian goddess of magic, death, healing, and re-birth. We included a bit of everything in our arrangement - guitar pedals, soundboard hand percussion, and lots and lots of pedal / lever changes to get all of those accidentals and key changes! We hope you enjoy our massive and hypnotic version of this Maiden classic. We hope you also enjoy our version of the guitar solo - which ended up being a serious harp solo!

The landscape, the costumes, your winglike choreography... and of course the song... I cannot imagine how difficult it was to rearrange it on two harps, but you did it, and it sounds marvelous. One year ago, I wouldn't have believed that anybody could play Iron Maiden on harps and that on top of that it might sound good, but I was SO wrong. It's not your first Maiden cover but it might be one of the best (either this, or "Fear of the Dark"). That's a real teaser for your upcoming album "Harp Attack 4" which I'm proud to having been able to take part in the Kickstarter campaign.

Actually, with this one, I was asking if you thought Iron Maiden's "Powerslave" or Queen's "The Prophet Song" should be the song I commission. You swayed my vote in the right direction.
The situation you're thinking about was when I asked which version of "Bring Your Daughter..." was better, the original Dickinson version from that film series I don't like, or the Maiden version that was re-tooled for their "No Prayer For The Dying". And also where Dickinson's original was used in that installment of that film series I don't like. I think we agreed that Dickinson's vocals were better in his solo version, but musically, the Maiden version is superior.

As if I haven't said it enough already during the live chat, as the fortunate Harp Head who got the chance to commission this song by contributing to the Kickstarter for "Harp Reflections", I knew, based solely on their exquisite work on "Fear Of The Dark" and "One", that Camille and Kennerly were going to come up with something truly special with their rendition of my all-time favorite Iron Maiden song. To say that my expectations were exceeded isn't just an understatement... to be honest, even with my extensive vocabulary and penchant for wordsmithing, I don't think I can come up with phrasing that would adequately compliment what was created here.
The Lord has definitely blessed our beloved Harp Twins with such wonderfully remarkable skill and creativity in what they craft, and my appreciation and gratitude for their amazing work cannot be expressed enough.
Blessings on you, Camille and Kennerly, and your dear mother, as well, since we wouldn't have gotten such amazing camera shots without her.

Really a cool video! Lots and lots of lever changes and so much excitement! Awesome drone coverage by mom as well as the whole video too was perfectly filmed by the great one! This has now got to be your longest video! The Harp Bards are really getting their money's worth! Again, the make up was so beautiful and perfectly applied! It must have taken a good amount of time. Well, that's about it for now. Going to get some more views in after work. I wish I could have made the live stream. This otta be out of this world amazing and me a Maiden fan since childhood. Plus the twins ripping the harps is like having 2 apples size cherries on top of a sweet chocolate syrup on top of a salty caramel yet on some great vanilla ice. Its definitely a great treat.

Amazing arrangement on harp. Taking the typical Iron Maiden gallop sound and moving it over itself was great, but the solo's and the harmony solo just worked so well. And that doesn't even touch on the visual aspect of the video!

The Harp Twins are an evil mirage! Uhhh, I need some help here! (laughs) ... I knew this was gonna be AMAZING from the moment it started. The arrangement is solid and played great. This song translates very well to harp. The breakdown gave me goosebumps! The video is excellent as well. The idea of the girls attaching those wings to their killer dresses and teaming up to create a variety of shapes and formations in the wind really adds a nice, dramatic, aesthetic appeal to this video, IMO. I love it. It's definitely one of their best covers and videos on their channel!
