@@DIRT-BOSS thank you sir, im looking to rent a 30k excavator and was just wandering how it would fit on my trailer. I have a 20 ton as well same length.
@@DIRT-BOSS I know here in Maryland they require you to have a third axle on the trailer (so essentially a 25ton) to help spread the weight out. Same as dirt ninja and letsdig18 setups.
It'd clear the scales here, but you'd collect a $100 fine for passing the safety chains thru the ring and then hooking by the point. And then another fine for those small hooks - there's a math formula that specs how heavy a hook you need for the max size load and chain tensile strength. Funny thing is ... the hook has to be far stronger than the chain strength, which doesn't make much sense. But after getting dinged at the scales and again at the parts shop, I won't forget it.
I have komatsu pc200lc (23 ton) that I would like to haul behind my kenworth dump truck. Do you think I could do this with a 25 ton tag trailer? I would only haul maybe 10 miles from home.
Big toys for big boys, thanks for posting.

Lined up that Pintle first try.
Yes sir
how much does the DOT bother you with this setup? Aren't you over loaded on your axle weight?
Good question.. no thus set up is perfectly legal. That's the biggest machine you can put on a True 20 ton trailer.
Thanks
