If you claim it in real time for 2025 it will be added as a tax credit and you will get the benefit of it little by little by way of a reduction in your wages every pay period. We are not sure yet about the full implications of this update from Revenue. We feel there will be further updates and clarifications.
Hey can you explain this. I had rent credit of 2024 2000euro. Now I did my tax back for medical health care for 2024. And when I claim/click everything to apply tax for 2024. I had normally employee tax credit, share tax credit for married couple and this new health care tax for 2024. Rent tax credit but it was 10.000 euro. Not 2.000 how it said during the year. I read that this is gross pay tax credit as they give 20% back. Which is 2000 euro. But I'm scared that they will count me 10.000 and that I will have underpayment of 8.000 euro😅😅. Is this correct or I fked up something?
