I have driven from the first generation Innova to crysta ,when i was planning to upgrade to hycross i had lost of confusions as drive feel with RWD crysta and FWD hycross was very different. But i have seen many hycross reviews, you have addressed that point very well😊. Kudos all the best

My two cents about that ev running which you tested.
Brother actually its not only upto 45kmhr speed. Even upto 80 kmhr speed, the car can run in Ev alone hybrid mode due to battery power . It all depends on Battery charge level . When you tested in the video , probably the battery could have less charge in it , thats why shifted from ev to engine .
Conclusion:-
If you have full battery charge means ,surely for 50 kmhr speed you can drive 4-5 Kms ., even without engine getting on .
So in hybrid, it all depends on driver like how is keeping his battery always in full charge.
Note:-
1. Many feel engine sound is high on revving when pedal pressed hard . Guys its an hybrid and its not meant for pressing hard . There is no logic in comparing Crysta with hycross .
2. Many say getting mileage only around 13 kmpl . If you drive it wrongly, then the mileage will drop even low to 11 kmpl . Its not only with hycross but with every car. If you drive sensible with crysta ,it will give 15 kmpl in highway. While If you drive like racer means crysta will hardly give 8-9kmpl only. So if you want to extract mileage from a hybrid means , we have to use the car according to the hybrid system. We cant push and pull the car for our wish and ask for mileage .

If you don't want any fancy features and you want to buy hycross only for its hybrid capabilities, go for vx. But if you want some extra features then go with vxo

Color is Blackish Ageha. It will look blue in sunlight and black at night or when parked under a shade.

Im in a dilemma due to extended waiting period of booked zxo , but vxo is been offered instead. What do u suggest . This will be my first car. Kindly advise @motormalai

Mainly 2 things bro, essential features are available in vxo which will be enough for daily usage. But if you are looking for some cool features like ottoman seats, ventilated seats, adas etc, then you will have to wait for zxo. Secondly if they are offering immediate delivery for vxo then you can go for it if you can sacrifice those extra features of zxo.

And since you have said it's your first car, discuss with your family also. If you want full feature packed hycross and if you can wait for that extended waiting period then go for zxo. If you feel features offered in vxo is enough for you and your family then go for vxo, as you said you might get the car much earlier. And some 5 lakh price difference is there between these 2 models. So think on the price point also.

I took a test drive in Lanson Toyota Madipakkam, But i dont suggest any dealer because noone is honoring the waiting period. if an influencial person books a hycross he gets the car very soon overtaking all others waiting in the que which is not fair.
