Femara and Metformin are for two different things, so it would depend on your specific situation as to which one would be better for you. Definitely reach out to your doctor to see! If you have any questions about side effects I had when taking them or anything like that, let me know!
Sadly, it didn't work in helping me get pregnant. I ovulated each cycle I took it and my levels came back very high during that time, which was great. I'm not quite sure why it didn't work since I was ovulating, but the second cycle I stopped taking it I became pregnant!
I did Whole30 2 cycles before I got pregnant, so there's a chance that helped. I was also on Metformin and Progesterone the cycle I got pregnant, so it could have been that those two medicines as a combination were the way to go for me! I have a playlist labeled "TTC" that has from my second miscarriage to our pregnancy announcement if you want each step in more detail!
What cycle day did you get your peak on? 🙂 I also had some early losses and I’m on letrozole now to help the boost!
