It hasn’t always been easy. Doing some research and buying over the years have helped me. Sometimes they have the description of the materials online or sometimes they have a synthetic leather sticker.

The only time we can be 100% sure is when they put the synthetic leather sticker inside the shoe. That confirms the upper isn’t real leather

Nike sometimes has a description on their app but they’re not consistent with it

It’s not easy! I look at all the descriptions and I’ve gotten used to how materials look and feel. I’m no expert but I try my best
