It was at a Night of Hope (before they were called Nights of Hope) that I experienced the miracle Pastor Peter mentioned. I was in trouble at work...it was a hostile environment, we worked around tools and things that could easily be turned into weapons. The individual I had conflict with I shared in the fault (I wasn't innocent). He was older and I was to some extinct being disrespectful because I was taller and bigger (but not necessarily stronger). Every night leaving work (12am-1am) in a dangerous part of Brooklyn I used to hear gun shots as I waited for the bus to go home. I remember before the Service at Madison Square Garden, the conflict at work met a tipping point, so at the service while the praise and worship went forth, I could only think about the conflict at work! God spoke to me from the inside "are you going to let this situation prevent you from praising me?" At that time I thought about it and said "no..." Then decided to praise God who is worthy of my praise regardless of the situation at work! It was a decision... I had a Blessed Service, and there was a Blessed Word. When I got back to work something strange occurred! The man i had conflict with came to me and he apologized! Here is the thing 1. I knew i was wrong, I didn't fully respect him as i should have, but he was truly the more mature and humbled himself and ended the conflict! It was because of Jesus...i TRULY BELIEVE Jesus fixed it at that time He asked me if I would allow the situation to prevent me from praising HIM. Praising God in the midst of a storm is hard and is a decision but it is the right decision. I Love you and be Blessed in Jesus' name, AMEN
