If I had to add some more: S-Tier: Hermès A-Tier: Narciso Rodriguez, Mugler, Valentino B-Tier: Hugo Boss, Bvlgari, Kenzo, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Paco Rabanne, Ralph Lauren C-Tier: Diesel, Calvin Klein, Joop!, Tommy Hilfiger
Honestly from Chanel, except maybe BDC parfum Allure Homme edition blanche and Platinum Egoiste, nothing is really that interesting. The rest are really old style perfumes, some are forgettable, others don't last at all...I find the brand quite boring compared to something like Dior or JPG
@SchoolofScent yes please. I can't find samples anywhere and don't want to commit to a full bottle. I hear some of the flankers like "ice" are really good for the summer, albeit maybe a bit immature.
I love their Gentleman line, my favorite is Reserve Privée. I also love Gucci Guilty EDT, Omar put 2 of my favorite brands in the bottom tier lol. Sadge
I don't currently own any Armani frags, but I agree. The house has a wide range of something to offer all tastes. They have office sent, gym scents, sexy scents, etc. They have good quality and can go toe to toe with the best..... 1st time I smelled Versace pour homme I thought it smelled good, but sitting next to it was Profondo with was in a whole different league when I smelled it. The SWY line is amazing, and I never really go into the Code line, but it's well respected and talked very highly about.
I want to know what he says about Valentino. I know another of ppl like the house, but I think it's overrated. Born in Roma this. Born in Roma that. Their only mid level to me. I really like BIR intense, though.
Guerlain deserves S-tier! Their L'Art & La matiere line has beyond good looking flakons which you can customize? YES PLEASE !!!! Dont know much about how good the scents are but i will order samples because i wanna buy one for the bottle (and the scent obviously)
Definitely not. They cut corners and cheap out on packaging, plus they constantly reformulate all their scents. There's a strong disconnect with consumers (normal for frag companies) but more so a constant middle finger to them. They're overrated and I don't see how they're not called out for it more.
Was a big fan of Armani but I feel let down by the way they dropped ADG Profumo and the best Codes (absolu and profumo). Hard to judge the whole brand, such as Prada and would luv to Prada-fy any scent but find they have a few duds. Tom Fords are just nit affordable, i only have OL edp as i got a wicked deal on the duty free, to have more than that would be nank busting.
I'm a big fan of Givenchy Pi, but I did hear there was some resemblance to Guerlain's L'Homme Ideal EDT, curious to see you opinions if you ever get your nose on both! Great vid as always Omar!
Gucci pour homme 2....had a bottle of this, all gone now unfortunately, but it was good stuff. Moschinos Toyboy smelt a bit similar when i sampled in store.
Hello Omar asked you in your last video, Can you please recommend three fragrances for women? (Summer appropriate if possible, as it can get quite hot here in Senegal). I want to gift them to my girlfriend. (She's 23 btw, if that matters) One dumb reach for dialy use and every occasion. One for work (she works in a beauty institute) And one for special occasions. Thank you!
Chanel- A bc of the quality Dior- S, can do no wrong to me lol Versace- C, they have a private line nobody knows about Armani- A tier bc of their private line Tom Ford- S tier for me Guerlain- S tier easy Gucci- D tier, I know it's not an option but nobody would care if they never released anything again. Carolina Herrera- A tier definitely a sleeper JPG- A tier, not a huge fan of the DNA but can't deny the popularity Givenchy- B borderline C tier, they're under performing Prada- B tier YSL- S tier bc of their private line. I'll put it up against any other designer any day D&G- B tier
JPG has performance issues to rank in S tier. unless its Le Male Le Parfum it becomes a skin scent too quickly and I've tested the whole JPG line in Macy's. D&G should be in C tier, Gucci should move up to B tier. Versace goes up to A tier, CHHC goes down to B tier. YSL also goes up to A tier. Tom Ford up to S tier. Thats the proper ranking imo. Been into fragrance since the late 90s early 2000s
The scent absolute, private accord, bottled elixir. Wanted by night, most wanted parfum. Toyboy. Intense vetiver, eu givree, Hermes. Man in black, wood neroli. Explorer. All excellent, couldn't be more wrong tbh 🤣
profondo eau de parfum isnt new its just rebottling it into refillable bottles like theyre doing with the entire line i dont see why people are confused
Not true, I have both the new and older versions and the new profondo is sweeter. It's noticeable right away once you spray it that it's sweeter than the OG. OG is way better hands down than both parfum and new EDP versions
By focusing on how a house labels the fragrance as male disregards the creativity that is actually taking place. Rather than putting out flankers, Chanel has created several unisex scents after Bleu de Chanel Parfum that are quite creative, such as Le Lion, Paris-Edimbourg, Comete. Relying solely on the gender assigned to the fragrance by marketers and then downgrading the house is not the way to assess the work that is taking place.
Even though its almost 30 years ago the release of le male literally changed the course of mens perfumery. That reason alone keeps them in the conversation
No, I do not agree at all. First YSL is together with Dior the best of the best Designer brand. YSL prive line, is magnificent, Tuxedo is niche quality, amazing, From my 87 scents collection, Splendid wood and Babycat are in my top 5 best. Manifesto and La nuit d'l'homme are very solid. Jean Paul Gautier...boring, the same bottle again and again, and many flankers are similar, often clones of other fragrances, same with Chanel..
Xerjoff guide after gta 6 is would be crazy
It might come after Elder Scrolls 6, I'm afraid...
If he ain’t working on the script rn he ain’t a real one
Give this guy what he wants
If I had to add some more:
S-Tier: Hermès
A-Tier: Narciso Rodriguez, Mugler, Valentino
B-Tier: Hugo Boss, Bvlgari, Kenzo, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Paco Rabanne, Ralph Lauren
C-Tier: Diesel, Calvin Klein, Joop!, Tommy Hilfiger
Omar: Chanel is only A tier because they are not doing anything new. It would be nice of they had newer flankers.
Chanel: And I took that personally.
What did they release?
@@apollo5261 allure homme sport superleggera
@@apollo5261 nothing yet but they're making a new allure flanker called super leggera(it means light)....the flanker no one wanted
Day X without xerjoff buying guide
It’ll get to be day 2000 without that stupid guide. There’s no actual demand for it except for one dude and his troll copycats
@@krisjones4051Relax, chill dude🤦♂️
Chanel is S, because they only create classics, they don't have to discontinue crap like other brands do.
Yeah and I'm glad they've not jumped on the stupid cash grab elixir trend
For a man, Chanel is nothing special, quality but boring ..and the performance is not the best
Honestly from Chanel, except maybe BDC parfum Allure Homme edition blanche and Platinum Egoiste, nothing is really that interesting. The rest are really old style perfumes, some are forgettable, others don't last at all...I find the brand quite boring compared to something like Dior or JPG
Oh no! Chanel is A at best, i would personally give it B actually.
If you want compliment, do something of value with your life. What kind of men expect compliment for something they bought and wear?
Day 38 of asking Omar to make a Xerjoff buying guide.
That was a great Tier List! Next one should be a Xerjoff Fragrance Tier List, complete with a guide.

Xerjoff buying guide has to be the most requested video in the history of this channel. You can't just keep ignoring it.
Great video Omar! Would be cool to see your take on a niche version of this style of video!👀
Thats a great idea 👍
Also I think Chanel needs to do a winter frag. They have a bunch of fresh versatile frags witch are appreciated. But a good winter frag would slap.
Loving the editing so far, did you hire someone different?
No, our usual editor, he did great!
