The challenges are Changing Requirements, Low quality of specified requirements, lack of skills of management/analysts, communication and coordination problems, lack of proper documentation, lack of skills of stakeholders, lack of stakeholder involvement. Thanks.
Some of those challenges are soft skills and process related and some are lack of skills and knowledge related. Specific knowledge areas that address some of those issues can be found in Req Analysis and Design Definition....
