If we go after Joao Neves, what are the odds that Vieira will be offered as a player + cash swap? Vieira could be difference between 100m and 80m fee.
Personally, I'd like more strength and power in the midfield. I see rice is being more of a six so offensive minded who can run at defences would be good (Fofana or Eze?)
Neves reminds me of Amrabat and Kante.
On the other hand when players are playing at an international level, they are playing with a higher quality of opposition so you actually get to see how they perform against other top players.
Do we need more defense or offense? city gave up more goals but they still won the league. We need more clinical finishers. Odegaard is not a clinical finisher. Plus he makes attempts at 50/50 balls in to 70/30 for the opposition. We need assassin's.

I'd be smart about things and. I'd give partey and Jesus new contracts. On lower wages. I'd go for onana and lavia. Sell nketiah and esr for the 60m.
Then ramsadale to Newcastle for 45m. Now you have dms of lavia, onana, partey to help teach them, and jorginho. And we haven't spent a penny. And you'd have Jesus as back up lw, cf, rw, and left 8. We'd be able to bring in sesko and Gyokeres.
Let city trigger Bruno 100m clause and us go for isak next summer. If we even needed him at that point after he gets injured we can pick him up next summer for 40m potentially. 100m players never work out except for one or two. Rice being one of them.
Just because we have 300m doesn't mean we have to spend it this summer. I'd rather spend 150m brining in 5 new prospects as well as promoting nwerni to the first team. Either way this summer is going to be fun coyg!!!
