They're very different. Apart from the Continuum being much much more sensitive and faster scan rate, and the Roli being bumpy and key defined, and Continuum is flat and free, I think the biggest difference is the synth engine. Continuum is totally beyond anything else on the market. Difficult to learn, but very very interesting. Roli is probably more casual to play "normal" stuff. But I find the Continuum much more interesting.
