There's a reason why people loving that specific part of this song. Where she starts to get angry and ends up screaming. She went through something really painful and traumatizing. Some of us really can relate to it. When she screams, it feels like we are screaming too, through her. It is satisfying. I personally can feel the anger in her voice. Right, we recently went back to school and it was a long time since I talked to him but I tried to talk to him and he ignored me, he might've not heard me right? Wrong, I tried 3 more times but he ignored me in all of them, oh well... Can't say I didn't try, now we avoid each other and are strangers again... Strangers that once loved each other... It's hurts cuz I see the way his friends look at me and how they also avoid me all because of him. His own cousin told me he still talks about me, and we'll I guess he's the one that still talks about me, he talks down on me to, when once we loved and cared for each other, a person can really change so fast, please don't take people for granted while you still have them ans know sometimes it's better to keep things as a friendship. I got really emotional when I first listened to this song. I had a three year relationship end about two months ago. I felt like we brought out the best and worst about each other. Towards the end it was so toxic and needed to end, but that didn't stop my heart from breaking. This is one of those songs that articulated my exact feelings and brought comfort in a dark and depressing time.

The part of "You made me hate this city" is so powerful, it's a feeling I can't quite describe, but it's just pure disgust, pure tiredness, you can't stand the thought of someone you used to love, of someone that was your entire world for a fragment in time, and now you just hate where they come from, every place that meant something for them it's a place you want erased from earth, it's such a powerful feeling of anger, the desire to change the world and the will to do it

It's relatable she's releasing and expressing how she feels in regards to the situation and what she's been through. It's a healthy way of releasing that emotion and should be encouraged. Nothing wrong with speaking your mind on how you feel or think. Can be more difficult in a abusive relationship where lying gaslighting is abuse. No apology is a red flag but to much apology means victim of gaslighting. No apology means the person didn't care about her well being saftey etc. I have similar experiences in relationships and I will never go back to anyone like that in my entire life. Because I'm honest and value decency as well. I get that vibe from her lyrics. Wtf is wrong with other person if your loyal and would never do that. Very well put great song!

i love the fact that this pretty much describes exactly the feelings a non toxic person has for a toxic person that pretty much just plague their life and bring nothing but pain and sadness.
When I first heard this song it made me think of my dad. He was abusive my whole life but always played the victim. He made me hate my hometown because I wanted to get away but couldn’t because I was just a kid. I’ve since moved, as I am now an adult, but I hate my hometown and avoid going there.
The “just fucking leave me alone” and her screaming is SO relatable to me. Such a powerful song!
