I love Kate’s acting here. She makes it seem like she doesn’t know where the song is going until it gets there. And when it does, she seems pleasantly surprised at herself.
Ordinary Days has an awesome soundtrack because you can just listen to it and get almost the full picture. This song is unique because seeing Jared and Kate perform it adds a whole lot.
I can't express how much I love this song.... the beautiful thing about this musical is that it doesn't make you cry because it's super sad, but because it overwhelms you with cuteness. This final song is the best example of it.
Listened to the cast recording of this musical today...loved it completely. These two in particular were laugh out loud funny. Amazing amazing music and acting.
I just found out about this musical. And it really is almost, not quite, new york, sort of, "beautiful" (I don't know why I did that lol) it really put things in perspective. having you look at the world in a new light, more or less. It's different for each person about what you've gotten from this song. But for me it makes me feel valid about liking something that most people don't. If I connect with it than that's all that matters.
@MMandalios94 It's just her doing a bored child's voice, because she thinks that is a stupid question that a tour guide would ask kids on a field trip to a museum.
