i feel like it might be related to joost... or a separate case abt them and isnotreal. iirc a lot of the artists and staff were harassed by that country's delegates. ebu ignoring that didn't help either.

Why should only an artist be drawn into politics? Shouldn't she just be allowed to entertain like a parent who is dressed up like for Hallowe'en until her and her artistic team decides her profile needs to be reinvented?
So it's all about love and peace and sharing music as something combining - but then Eden as a contestant and musician should not be loved and accepted? I know the whole Israel Gaza war is absurd and terrifying. But Eden was not competing as part of her government but as a fellow musician right? Can't we just try to share love and peace with everyone? Seems a bit like a double standard for me.
Eden Golan was a willing participant in her government’s attempt to use Eurovision to artwash their seemingly endless war crimes in Palestine. She’s a grown woman, don’t treat her like a child
Eden is from Russia and is pro Putin. Her delegation harassed other artists including Bambi which is currently being investigated.
let's not forget her open support for the killing of people in Gaza and soooo much more
Her proudly representing a country that’s committing war crimes right now and her delegation even mocking it by yelling “Free PaIestine” at her as a joke, the constant harassment of the Israeli delegation of which half of the contestants complained about and multiple videos of said harassment have surfaced, and her joining the IOF soon probably have something to do with it.
This girl needs help, she's obsessed and it's creepy.
