Thanks for the reminder that it's ok to stop an inspect a feature you aren't sure of. I usually just bypass and keep the ride going and never do the feature.
I just did this again last night, in the dark testing out my new light. it sucked lol. Light was too focused and not wide enough and i couldn't see corners so i walked alot. I recommend a front light and a headlamp, i will have 2 bar lights, so 3 total next time. At least i didn't have snow! NJ! A bit greasy last night but i've had worse. Only one skid on a wet root, so that was good. I shared your vid and took a snapshot of the sideview of the rockroll (on facebook) since i couldn't find my day picture of it. I hope that is ok. There was a 2nd boulder, i didn't see it on your video, the rides in the day are so sweet for route finding and expresso can still be difficult to find a route.
VanCan right on. I have been contemplating getting the grip to run it in that same set up. How do you find it while riding on the trails? Does it get in the way at all? If you were wearing a backpack, would a sternum strap get in the way?
I don't mind riding with it, I mostly forget it's there. Sometimes I bump it, but it doesn't really get in the way for me. I wear a camelbak and nothing gets in the way, except sometimes the straps dangle in front of the camera.
The Sign is wrong, even if you prefer the Italian spelling, The spelling is still wrong. I had this conversation with a bunch of scooter kids at Kirkstone one day, schooled em.
The rock roll is just pure fun, the turn at the the bottom gets my heart beating.

Very nice footage.
The trail looks fun.
Good job sending it on the big features. We can tell you were committed 100%.
Thanks! Sometimes you just gotta send it!
If you keep up the road another 100 meters or so you can check out the original entrance :D
One of these days I’ll try it out!

After I fell off that rock roll and broke my shifter I haven't hit it since😂😭
It is so weird to see you riding a trance. 😉
Your footage amazing as always, keep it up!
Thanks!
Huck yes Van Can!
Sometimes you just gotta send it.
How long is that ride up the fire road?
I just did it tonight. about 3.5 Km of pretty easy road climb. Not crazy at all
Nice ride. You really got cruising once the snow cleared up.
Were you using the Karma grip?
Ya I’ve got the hero 5 black in the karma grip on the chesty.

VanCan thanks. Doesn’t sound like a hassle really. Will be worth it to get that smooth footage!
Definitely! I like Karma, but the audio with the hero 5 is mediocre. I'd check out some Hero 4 / Evo SS setups too.
Whats your strava dude?
I don't really use it, so I don't even know how to share my profile, haha. I'll figure it out after work.
bike is whisper quiet
Bike check VanCan?
I think I'll be adding to my bike collection soon, maybe I'll do a video when it gets here!
Video starts at 3:10 you’re welcome

It's ESPRESSO not eXpresso. It's an Italian word. Also, it's asterisk not Asterix, Asterix is a French cartoon character :-)
Trail Time Tim but the trail name really is Expresso.
The trail is named for the "express way" chutes that it runs through.
Trail Time Tim I do believe it's from Belgium
