That's true. If they'd dragged it on it would have lost all it's magic. They left us in just the right place, I think. Even if I'd have loved a third series.
Agreed, I loved (and still do love) Green Wing, but it's better that they finish on a high while it's still brilliant than drag it out for another series if it wouldn't live up to the first two.
