i have 3 pairs, rio, gizeh and mayari. i try to wear them whenever I can because it is comfortable for me. you should wear what you like and whats comfortable to you. Dont get swayed with what people think about them. If you like it and it works for you then wear them. Dont worry about the dirty footprint on the footbed, every birk wearer has them, its normal.
My 2nd/3rd grade teacher wore them every day with wool socks. I’m talking early 90s here 😂 I’m trying to get on her level
I was out this week in a trendy part of London and about 50% of the people there were wearing Birkenstocks. Young and old. Birks are always in!

I am a teacher. I have worn mine a lot off duty. I have even worn them teaching.
Some people say ugly comments about Birkenstocks. I’ve been told they look cool. One or 2 two people said they are sexy. Whatever people may say; they are ME.
If you can’t handle my Birkenstocks, you can’t handle me.
They are clearly not sexy but for comfort, YES!!

I love them! I have several pair, a couple pair of Mayari, a pair of Giza, 3 pairs of Airizona ( and EVA) and one Boston. I walk on trails too and I expect sand to get in their because it really doesn’t matter what brand of Sandals that will happen. Change into sneakers for your trail walks and appreciate your timeless Birks!!

I definitely LOVE Birkenstocks and they never go out of style! I have two pair so far and I love them!
The foot beds on my birks are exactly the same , they look soooo gross with my footprints on them and they stink soo bad of vinegar. I told my partner if she could smell my birks as a joke and she said it was unbearable even after I had worn them with socks 😂🤮xx
I like Birkenstocks and they are Comfortable and I like to Wear them Without Socks and To Air my Feet Out and Birkenstocks are Better Without Socks and Sandals are meant to Air Your Feet Out and are meant to be worn without Socks and to take your Socks Off
Also I like wearing Birkenstocks Without socks to take my Socks Off and to Air My Feet Out and I prefer without Socks and do you prefer without Socks or with Socks
My Favorite are the 2 Strap Arizona
when I’m an 80 year old man I’ll still be in Birkenstocks

If I like the way something looks on me, I don’t give a rat’s behind if it’s in style or not. I’m so not up on trends, I didn’t even know Birkenstocks were a thing when I bought my first pair, to help with arch pain I was having. They are so comfy, I don’t want to wear anything else. And I think they look cute (I used to think they were ugly, go figure).
I wear the Birkenstock Gizeh in size 41 with bare feet. I have had them in black and now tobacco brown. They are great shoes to wear, and really amazing when they mold. So nice!
I had a nice pair with three horizontal straps from when I was 13 years old. instead of the traditional two strap ones. I think they’re still in storage but I’m too lazy to look for them so I bought two new pairs; Arizona and Gizeh essential.

1 strap is madrid
2 strap is arizona
3 strap is florida
Thong no back is gizeh
Thong with backstrap is kairo
Arizona with backstrap is milano. These are ugly though.
Do you still have them? If so you should do another review on them. Your last one was over two years ago.
I actually don’t… such a sad day. I accidentally got them wet one too many times, and the soul cracked in half by my arch. They started pinching my feet when I would walk and I couldn’t fix them.
Learned a lot about the wear and tear and what not to do

I had a pair I wore OUT back in the 90’s ….
Wasn’t until recently I found out that they could be repaired….
They don’t make em like they used to but I STILL love them…
Your pair of birks are such a beautiful pair of sandals and their still pretty even with your footprints , my birks have much more vivid footprints and they probs stink a lot worse than yours 😂😂

I love my Birks. I stopped wearing them for a while cause i wanted to follow the trend and style of the crowd, but after a while, im going back to Birks cause no other sandals or shoes can compete with the comfort of the Birks, and i dont much care for the opinion of others on whether the Birks are in style or not. If anyone hates them, then they're missing out. The Birks are so worth the price imo, and im planning to get a new pair since mine are very beat up after a few years of wear.

Whoa. Did your mom ever know a guy named Leif Garrett? JUST KIDDING. Agree about the Birks: super comfortable, sometimes we have to stop and dump out rocks or sticks, they last a long time and get better with age, and they're not pretty. My "I'm not trying to impress anybody" shoes.
Just picked my first pair today...held off for a while due to having longer second toes and fearing they would rub up against the raised lip. I am hoping that over time, they will soften up.
Did you get the regular or soft footbed? I have both and although the soft bed are slightly more expensive, they are so worth it! The regular will soften up but you will need to religiously wear them for a couple months to properly break them in
@@suzannetaylor6285 Sorry for the late response. I'm not sure, but I think it was the regular foot bed. How do you know which is which?
@@Lapisphere the heel area on the insole should have a stamp that says “soft bed”….I started out my first few with the softbed - then got the original and now I would only buy original. The soft have less break in time, but still took me a while to wear them comfortably - however, once you do get comfortable in them, switching over to and breaking in the original foot bed is not so bad. Took maybe a week of short wear times. Then, I got a second pair of the original, and they were fine within a few days. I think due to the xtra cushioning, the soft bed is, well, softer, and flattens out somewhat eventually, whereas the original footbed is firmer and keeps the contours, so I think it’s more beneficial in the long run.

Team love Birkenstock! So I love the shoes, when you have the break in phase behind you, for me they are the most comfortable shoes there are. I've done the repairing thing before, simply because I'm connected to my shoes when I've been wearing them for years. A new pair has not yet adjusted to my feet, so it's hard for me to say goodbye to them. Got a pair of Birkenstock Mayari like you too 👣😎😍 Best regards

Absolutely find it very attractive when a woman who wears Birkenstocks especially dirty ones. Mayari are beautiful brought a pair recently for my lady a gator effect colour and will surprise her when lockdown is over with a red pair
