I think TH-cam comedy doesn't really fit the TV format that much, I think that's why a lot of TH-cam personalities come off as awkward and un-funny. Not that this isn't funny, for some people it isn't I see though :)

Except nope, because to be popular you have to appeal to people. Lilly is famous for being funny and real. That's her substance. You can't be famous simply for your popularity because you've got to appeal to people to be popular.
That, is just a stereotype of TH-cam and Internet creators, which was done to discredit them back when people didn't understand why kids would enjoy watching their videos.
There is a LOT more to TH-cam Creators than just popularity.
One reason I love Lilly's videos is because she's very real and very nice and very funny.

Clearly you don't know about her, if you think she's just famous for being famous and I think that really disrespects what she's about when you accuse her of that, because she's trying to help people and make people happy and it's hard to help people when there's people like you saying things like that about her.
TH-cam comedy is just Comedy that's on TH-cam, there's no difference to normal comedy, people just don't like it because it's just social media.
It can more than easily translate to TV.
