Leave the medicine alone because that stuff always has side effects, or and some type of after effects. But instead buy you a sauna, or use a sauna at a facility. In which everytime you use one within a matter of a couple of days or so it lowers BP. Meaning if you use one 2 times in a week that's 2 different times it got lowered(making the last time lower than before).

My 50 year old mama had HBP for as long as I could remember. she sadly passed because of this. No symptoms and her BP was over 200. Please take this seriously. She was okay one day and gone the next. This silent killer is no joke.
Same like my grandpa. He was healthy and happy without any symptoms. One day he fell off his chair and died suddenly. Inspector and doc checked him and said his blood pressure was over 220 and that was the cause of his death.
Wow, went to my endocrinologist yesterday and found out my blood pressure was 190/86, and sadly I have 9 of the symptoms you discussed here. Due to chronic illness I thought it was just acting up more than usual, but this clearly is an issue, so I'm starting the Medicine today. Thank you for sharing this information, it really helps to get a better perspective.
I got high blood pressure from Lupus and the other symptoms like retina and vision, most of what you explained, etc.! My rheumatologist keep an eye on me💯👏🏽👍🏽
I have hbp and I enjoyed my salty snacks.....but I decided to change and put my health first. I know when my bp is high because I go to the bathroom at night every hour. I then am tired during the day. It was a vicious cycle. It took 3 days to see it fall.
#4 for me here. my blood pressure was 235 over 130. I went 2 weeks with this blood pressure without going to hospital thinking i could just fight through it . Cause of my high blood pressure is drinking Alcohol 18pk a day snd poor diet and not enough r.e.m. sleep. i just turned 40yrs old. i finally went to Hospital and I have LVH. im on 10 different medications now. im not drinking Alcohol no more and im eating Healthy, plenty of water, taking morning brisk walks. i lost 30lbs in 30 days. 65 more pounds to lose.

I usually get the headache (like having my head in a vice) and the pressure behind my eyes when my pressure is up. I have to keep my sodium intake at no more than 1k mg a day. I have an app on my phone to keep track of my intake. Generally, I've got to eat fruits and vegetables, most if the day.
I don't understand how this video doesn't have more views and the channel more subscribers than it does. The content Dr. Frita provides can quite literally save lives.
I'm 31 with a family hx of HTN. Today I got sent home from work with heart flutters, weakness and dizziness. My BP was 181/145. That's crazy. I went home and slept like 4 hours because it was bloody exhausting. Sometimes lately I sleep 16 hours. I think it's time to talk to the doctor.
I had been concerned about my blood pressure and when I visit my Dr nothing is detected, now as of last week I had to preform a test which includes a Blood Pressure Procedure fist and Pow here I am taking Blood Pressure Meds and All the 9 you list had started happening..... I'm so scared now because I'm soon to be 52 and OMG I am needed here on Earth, so now I'm about to do as I should to remain here at least another 40 yrs... Thank You Dr. Frita for your helpful video.
I went to the hospital with chest pain and fatigue. The cat scan showed some scarring of the lungs. The ultrasound showed an enlarged heart and my pulse was 43. This weekend I am so tired and I have back pain. I feel right now it would be a blessing to pass away.
Wow this is crazy ! I would feel like passing out suddenly and my vision would become so blurry and somewhat hazy . When I would get up I would pray not to fall!! Sometimes when I breath in my chest and back hurt sooo bad . On top of being nauseous all the time . Please share this video !!!
Thank you Dr Frita, retired military and police, multiple 1st aid classes, and I still never fully understood the different level of blood pressure. Lady you are sliding with soulllllll!!!!!!
Thank you Dr. Frita. This is information I'm well aware of (I have stayed on top of my hypertension since it was discovered 10 years ago) with vigorous excercise, a vegan diet and a daily 5 mg valsartan, I'm managing to keep my BP baseline at apprx 119/71. Why I really appreciate this info I can share this video with many of my friends in my age group (mid-50's to early 60's) who simply do not take hypertension seriously.
This is among the best high blood pressure treatment I`ve read t.co/GsO1JmyXtf The guide is created in an simple and a lot less technical phrases, which makes it super easy to go by. Those who are ill-fated to have high blood pressure need to have this book. Prior to, I have my blood pressure at 120/80, thanks to this guideline, I was in a position to lower it. .
@@392_RHINO No. My Dr. took me off my last medication (5mg Amlodipine) in January of 2021. I am controlling it by diet and exercise, but recognize that I will have to monitor my blood pressure for the rest of my life, and at some point I may have to return to medication.
I’m 58 years of age. The past three years I have been less active than ever before. To include, my alcohol consumption, which really isn’t much. However, more than previously as a result of smoking more cigars. I’ve been dealing with nagging headaches for a couple of months. For the past three weeks or so, persistent headaches…with relief coming from a combination of Tylenol and ibuprofen (up to 800mg as needed). The first three symptoms you mentioned I’ve been experiencing. My numbers this morning are 140 over 100 and 106. I scheduled a visit to the doctor’s office this morning. Thanks for your expertise🌷
Hi Dr.Frita..my bp is 200/120. Im only 41 yr old..im feel nothing pain except when i have a menstuation period my head is very painful. But i want to take only a natural food not a pill.
I am 22 years old and my blood pressure is 154/80, the docs have me hand hanging my diet to avoid salt. I also go to the gym every day and I’m only 160 pounds 6 foot tall.
I had all of these coming on over two weeks went out had a drink fell over thoight I was drunk but never had that much to drink went hospital has I injured my hand my blood pressure was 200/200 hospital did nothing sent me home Thank You
Dr. Frita, I went on a whole food plant based diet with no avocados, no rice, no pasta, no salt, no added sugars or artificial sweetners and no oil and by emphasizing dark green vegetables, steel cut oatmeal and beans daily and excludes alcohol, sugary drinks and regular coffee (decaf only) and my pressure dropped to 85/60 (with medication) and I have lost 20 lbs. in two months without exercise! I steam my food and sauté in vegetable broth that has no salt. I don’t eat anything that isn’t from nature! I’m losing 2 lbs per week easily. I do take medication- a calcium channel blocker and a diuretic but prior to my diet change my pressures were still not consistently controlled. Now I have hope with continued weight loss that I can get rid of the pills altogether. And I feel amazing. We all need to stop eating processed foods that have all the fiber and potassium removed and are loaded with sugar, fat and salt: these foods are killing people!!
WOW! I don't know your baseline bp, but 85/60 is usually too low for the average person. I'm sure you contacted your doctor. You are on effective medication for your bp that will likely need to be titrated with numbers like this. Your weight loss is so awesome. Keep it up, and continue to monitor, log, and share your readings with your doctor.👏👏👏
Leave the medicine alone because that stuff always has side effects, or and some type of after effects. But instead buy you a sauna, or use a sauna at a facility. They probably do. But it is better to keep BP at bay with medication for the sheer harm it can cause. That's why it is called a Silent Killer. Never take chances with your health. If you survive a stroke or heart attack...it is dying daily. If you die....you will be spared endless suffering. Now YOU decide what you want to do...
I'm 56 now, but about 9 years ago my ( BP was dangerous at 195/115) I stopped eating junk foods and fast foods, started walking everyday, no drugs needed, lost about 40-50 pounds...I also put ground flax seeds in my smoothies almost everyday, I feel great, Forks over Knives is a great first step in understanding stuff.. Also just on a side note, the Big Pharma industry tells the colleges what to teach our Doctors...drugs, drugs, drugs.....
45 here had the same reading even got 198/122 they tried to put me on meds that would cause more side effects and I said give me a month . Did my own research, found serrapeptase, nattokinase, & lumbrokinase was amazing. Beets , banana smoothies and walking did wonders and all the doc could say was “how”? All I said was “But God”! And changed some habits of course Update, I now have readings of 117-120/77-80 when I wake up.
Thank you Dr Frita. My mom is 84yrs old, and on lisinopril 5mg. She used to be on Amlodopine 10mg also and I found that her blood pressure was very good on these two meds. I recently brought her to Guyana to live with me and the Dr here changed her meds from the Amlodopine to metoprolol 15mg. Unfortunately, we've been dealing with a pressure of over 130/82 since she's been on it and this morning 160/82. She's been dealing with headaches and it's frustrating. I'm thinking of not giving her the metoprolol because it's not helping.
Im not an expert on these matters but i myself take 5mg of Amlodipine and from what you have said I would try getting her back on what she had before and get a second opinion from another doctor
You know last time I checked it was like stage one or something I can’t remember but like I’m starting to work out and eat healthy and relax often and try and lower my blood pressure
Dr. Frita 1st thanks for the videos. So, ive always been 116/71 im 53 yrs old and ive been in that range for yrs... i eat healty, Never frozen, canned , processed. I go out to eat or order out maybe twice a yr. I eat 70% plant base. I eat more fish, like salmon, and haddock than i do any kind meat. Never smoke or drink. Im pretty active , zero health conditions other than the occasional asthma. Until i hit menopause. Now my blood pressure is 130/79 even 140 /83 seldom do i see a reading of 116/83 . My menopause was short lived, with cold flashes lasting about 3months and of course the cycle stopped over a yr ago. I no longer have any symptoms of any kind. But my blood pressure if all over the place especially high. No Cholesterol issues. No diabetes. Other than vitamin d being on the lower side all is good. So does menopause affect blood pressure? Oh, i do currently work as a live in with a patient that requires much of my attention and i could say that for the past 20 months i dont have a healty sleep pattern . Yet i do still work out even if im tired. So either lack of enough sleep or menopause?
You are God sent. Thank you for your love for mankind. This video is better than what I heard from Card. He directly attacked my weight (which is true, I'll work on that). And he told me I've got no hyp. While learning hear am like stage 3 or something. If my diastolic must remain below 80 mine goes to 100 and still not hypertensive. I will follow your guidelines. I have learnt something very important today. Bless you darling. Will go through your vids and comments to learn more in order to be in control.

@@larettemccoy8113 Its working for me. I am also a long distance runner, on very low sodium diet, trying not to get stressed out and try to sleep 6 to 8 hours a day. My average BP currently is 130/84. Not terribly bad for 59 Years old BM.
I had symptoms and had no idea this blood pressure since finding out 2 years ago had taken over me mentally and physically even though I am on the medication. I’m constantly scared of being back in hospital in a bad state I was in.

I checked into Urgent care today with chest pain on deep breaths and middle back pain on the left side. My BP was 185/109 looked it up and it said hypertension stage 3. Going to PCP tomorrow to do full metabolic panel and stress test.
Since high blood pressure doesn’t really produce any noticeable symptoms unless you are in hypertensive crisis, one way to tell if your blood pressure is consistently elevated it if you have poor circulation (limbs that are cold to the touch) or flushing (red, or warm skin especially in the face)
Warm or red face is not always an indicator or even a strong indicator. That can be caused by a number of things. It’s best to get checked and not assume because you get flushed.
Wow, those stats are staggering! Thank you for sharing this important information about hypertension. It's so crucial to be aware of the symptoms and to monitor our blood pressure regularly to prevent these serious health issues.
Thank you for your videos Dr. Frita, can you create a video of actions to take in a hypertension crisis as well as heart attach crisis. Some folks have been short lived because the right actions have not been taken in time to reduce the pressure, some folks may not know what to do or what not to do as well. Thanks for continuing to keep us informed and educated.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure caused by Conn’s Syndrome. Please do a video on Conn’s. I first heard a “whooshing” heartbeat in my ears when I lay down at night. Then noticed popping in my joints every morning.. fingers, wrists, elbows which I later found out was from excess fluid in my joints. I had had occasional heart flutters for years that felt like a butterfly in my heart. I had put it down to hormonal aging. They put me on Ramipril and my potassium levels dropped below normal. Sodium was high. Running to the washroom frequently. In all it took almost 10 years to get confirmation of Conn’s thru a saline suppression. Now I’m on the verge of being “too old” for the surgery. What are your thoughts on Conn’s?
Beets etc? What is etc? How should I be careful about medications? I was taken off Ramipril as it was the reason my potassium dropped to 3.0. Ramipril does not work on Conn’s as it is intended to block renin and with Conn’s renin is already too low. One size does not fit all.
I been having medical problems, within my family.... your videos been very helpful. Beautiful and intelligent strong black woman👩🏽⚕️. Thank you very much Dr. Frita 👩🏽⚕️🙏🏽
I didn't know what the symptoms were. I've had 7 out of 10. My bp is extremely high. Just got on meds but can't deal with the side effects. Thank you for your great advice on this subject. I'm grateful.
Watch her video on foods not to eat. She pointed out several foods I had no idea were bad. Good luck with it. Mine is Also a lot higher than it should be.
I tell you what. I was taking Nifedipine. That medicine was so strong for me. Made my chest hurt, palpitations, dizzy, sleepy BUT it brought my BP down. I'm on carvedilol 6.25mg. That's all I take now. I had to.come off of Nifedipine. My blood pressure is still slightly elevated but I just began exercising. Hopefully I get completely off of this medication in 6 months
I was close to 180/120 and didn't have any symptoms. I was running 2 hours a day and felt fine. Only reason I found out was due to a car accident. Went to see a Dr for my injuries and he was shocked at how high my BP was. Last I self checked at home, I was 110/75. Since then I went through a lot of life stuff that caused a lot of stress so that was probably the cause of the spike.
You're killing yourself with the medicine You take when U have a correct BP. You said that U had High BP in the hospital but when You self checked everything was alright. The reason of Your high BP is the white coat syndrome and a stress, anxiety and U should take care about Your mental health, then Your bp will be fine. There are no pills for the stress related bp spikes. There are no medicines which can prevent Your bp from rising when you're anxious or stressed.
most doctors unfortunately do not tell or check for lack of electrolytes in the blood cells.. majorly of high blood pressure is from depleted magnesium and potassium in your cells.
They literally put salt and sugar and everything! Doctor told me I have high blood pressure and I've had migraines and a bad diet since a kid. From now I'm on a Mediterranean diet, only cooking cooking for myself and exercise daily!
Thank you for this video. #10 is the reason i am talking with my doctor as I have stage 1/2 hyper tension based on those numbers, but have 0 symptoms. So crazy as I workout 3x a week and eat fairly healthy. My worry is sometimes the meds they prescribe cause side effects - mainly sudden dizziness. But will make sure I go through it with my doctor and find the right meds to control this.
I’m 20 but I’ve had hypertension for two years now … it comes and goes … but now it’s pretty bad 142/81 I have shortness of breath and it’s kinda serious I’ve been scheduled to see a cardiologist soon enough tho 🙏

Thank you for sharing this information, it really helps to get a better perspective.
hi
hope you’re doing better
What are the solutions ?
Hope you are well 😘
Thank you, I'm working on it.
Dr. Frita, I like the way you speak very clear and easy to understand 👏👏👏👍👍👍🙏🙏
Leave the medicine alone because that stuff always has side effects, or and some type of after effects. But instead buy you a sauna, or use a sauna at a facility. Because saunas at the right temperature for the right amount of time causes weight loss, stress release, bone treatment, salt release, and yes lower blood pressure. In which everytime you use one within a matter of a couple of days or so it lowers BP. Meaning if you use one 2 times in a week that's 2 different times it got lowered(making the last time lower than before).
Gurl just watching this video made my blood pressure go up. I have so many of these symptoms. I'm fitting to watch all your videos lol
What's the app please?
I don't understand how this video doesn't have more views and the channel more subscribers than it does. The content Dr. Frita provides can quite literally save lives.
Thank you for the kind words and for watching! Be well.
Thank you Dr Frita
yes, definitely! she's saving people!
I'm so happy!!to open this video ,everything she's saying had to do with my symptoms, that my Dr never mentioned to me.🤭

Are you ok ? Have anything happen since then
Those numbers are stroke level. Next time go to ER. SERIOUSLY.
U think that's natural or inconsumning try fasting
I had been concerned about my blood pressure and when I visit my Dr nothing is detected, now as of last week I had to preform a test which includes a Blood Pressure Procedure fist and Pow here I am taking Blood Pressure Meds and All the 9 you list had started happening..... I'm so scared now because I'm soon to be 52 and OMG I am needed here on Earth, so now I'm about to do as I should to remain here at least another 40 yrs... Thank You Dr. Frita for your helpful video.
Fantastic, easy to understand video on hypertension. I have seen all your related videos on the subject. Kudos to.you. God bless you
Thank you, I really appreciate you for watching my videos.
I went to the hospital with chest pain and fatigue. The cat scan showed some scarring of the lungs. The ultrasound showed an enlarged heart and my pulse was 43. This weekend I am so tired and I have back pain. I feel right now it would be a blessing to pass away.
No Sir. You shall live again. You will grown stronger. Am praying for you 🙏
Great job Dr Frita short and to the point. Excellent!!!! Keep it up. Tell me more so I may extend my lifespan.

Thank you for sharing this info. Learned new symptoms headache, back pain.
Prior to, I have my blood pressure at 120/80, thanks to this guideline, I was in a position to lower it. .
Are you still on the medication?
Thank you doctor big salute to you. I do respect you and Emory U

Thank you so much for this information, Dr FRITA.
I have 4 of the 10 symptoms... I'm going to the hospital in the morning... thank you so much.. I'm 51 years old
Awesome. Hope you are get treated now.
I have and do and was not aware these were symptoms; thank you for these videos Dr. Frita!
I have 7 of these symptoms... my last reading was 160/100. Making changes NOW.
Dr. Frits so wonderfully explained thank you!
I'm a R.N. and that's low for Blood Pressure it should be 120/80. Please consult your doctor
Thank you for your information. I am having problem lowering my blood pressure. I will take your advice by steaming my food etc. Thank you
awesome! you tried hard. you deserve it! god bless you! :)

Don’t ppl of different ages have different BP readings n yet still considered normal for their age?
They probably do. But it is better to keep BP at bay with medication for the sheer harm it can cause. That's why it is called a Silent Killer. Never take chances with your health. If you survive a stroke or heart attack...it is dying daily. If you die....you will be spared endless suffering. Now YOU decide what you want to do...

What about pain in your left arm? Straght down your arm from muscle to lower arm? Lower back pain?

Me too
thanks for helping me to know all theese symptoms
I'm 56 now, but about 9 years ago my ( BP was dangerous at 195/115) I stopped eating junk foods and fast foods, started walking everyday, no drugs needed, lost about 40-50 pounds...I also put ground flax seeds in my smoothies almost everyday, I feel great, Forks over Knives is a great first step in understanding stuff.. Also just on a side note, the Big Pharma industry tells the colleges what to teach our Doctors...drugs, drugs, drugs.....
Did you manage to lower your blood pressure with those changes or did you take medication
@@paulinedevine4913 I was wondering the same
45 here had the same reading even got 198/122 they tried to put me on meds that would cause more side effects and I said give me a month . Did my own research, found serrapeptase, nattokinase, & lumbrokinase was amazing. Beets , banana smoothies and walking did wonders and all the doc could say was “how”? All I said was “But God”! And changed some habits of course
Update, I now have readings of 117-120/77-80 when I wake up.
I did the same.

Thank you, garlic is also good.
That's bc she's not livn if u listen let a doctor dictate how u live ? A doctor n a mechanic idms no different to a dummy
Thank you so much for sharing, May God continue to bless you for your great service ❤🌷
Hi gn/gm I have no symptoms but when my blood pressure goes up I will pass out have been in acoma and life support because of it

Good caution on blood pressure symptoms that are easily ingnored.
I checked into Urgent care today with chest pain on deep breaths and middle back pain on the left side. My BP was 185/109 looked it up and it said hypertension stage 3. Going to PCP tomorrow to do full metabolic panel and stress test.
Thanks Dr very informative video, I have been working on reducing my salt intake in my diet and cooking fresh food from scratch
Since high blood pressure doesn’t really produce any noticeable symptoms unless you are in hypertensive crisis, one way to tell if your blood pressure is consistently elevated it if you have poor circulation (limbs that are cold to the touch) or flushing (red, or warm skin especially in the face)
Interesting
Warm or red face is not always an indicator or even a strong indicator. That can be caused by a number of things. It’s best to get checked and not assume because you get flushed.
This doctor is a TH-cam natural. I hope she is this thorough with her regular patients. Other doctors need to learn her bedside manner.
Wow, those stats are staggering! Thank you for sharing this important information about hypertension. It's so crucial to be aware of the symptoms and to monitor our blood pressure regularly to prevent these serious health issues.
you just made me realize I'm in hypertensive crisis at 27 my blood pressure today was 168 120
Thank you for your videos Dr.

Very well articulated & simple to understand...Thank you Frita
Thanks for sharing!🙏🏽

Ask your doctor about carvedilol 25 mg that works excellent
I tell you what. I was taking Nifedipine. That medicine was so strong for me. Made my chest hurt, palpitations, dizzy, sleepy BUT it brought my BP down. I'm on carvedilol 6.25mg. That's all I take now. I had to.come off of Nifedipine. My blood pressure is still slightly elevated but I just began exercising. Hopefully I get completely off of this medication in 6 months
@Crypto Clan I know you asked her but for me 150/92. The highest it ever gone landed me in the hospital 205/105
you better off taking high doses of magnesium 450mg daily and potassium 4,000 mg daily .. majority are deficient and causes HP
How is your blood pressure now
Improved somewhat with medicine but still too high. Gonna have to up my dosage again. The stress is literally killing me.
