Fue la primera obra que le conocí a Riichiro Inagaki y Yusuke Murata (por recomendacion de un amigo). Quién diría que después ayudarían a crear Dr. Stone y One Punch Man, pero el talento ya lo tenían desde aquí.
I just realized, but there’s an error in this OP. Sena’s eyeshield is green in the OP. But after beating the Bando Spiders, Hayato Akaba gave his eyeshield to Sena, and that Eyeshield is blue. So for the Nagas game, Sena should have the blue eyeshield. EDIT: After having watched a great deal of the anime, I find that the color of Sena's eyeshield to be one of the least offensive things that the anime team did.
Sad that nowadays we don't get antagonists as Agon, the man was a hater against everyone. That's why it was so satisfying seeing him eat dirt at the end.
Fillers ate up all the budget for this series. Probably all the NFL licensing fees too for their short programs. Looked so good for a while but as the budget ran low, animation got lazy.
It had nothing to do with budget, it was most likely staffing issues. Most of the animators were probably working on Yu-gi-oh (Same studio) around that time.
JupiterJAV ] That was Yu-Gi-Oh! GX when this came out. And GX had some horrible animation throughout most of the series. GX had similar issues where the good animators just did the opening and ending credits for the longest time. At least ES21 got more episodes with the good team. But you could really feel it at the end. And I mean literally the end. Last episode is mediocre animation and like the last 5 mins the good team jumps in to finish up.

Regardez Yowamushi Pedal, un anime de sport au potentiel enorme qui est trop sous côté alors qu'il vaut largement un bon Haikyuu
