This was mine and my ex's favourite song. We were meant to come and see you in concert in January together, but we broke up a few weeks before. I ended up going on my own and this song just broke me, but I'm glad I went. Her and I don't really talk anymore, but this song will always remind me of her and the incredible time we had together. Don't know where I'm going with this, but I just want to say thank you for making this song man.

when i'm anxious, stressed, or just needing to sing something to myself while walking to school, i sing this song. i may never be able to picture out most of the situations you pointed out in the song cuz i've never tried watching the notebook for the 17th time or biting somone's lip or dancing on tabletops but it's really calm and i get the message and for me that's enough. For almost 4 years it's either been this song or city of stars. It's quite surprising how this song never gets old the more I sing it. I hope it never does. I hope it stays as one of my favorites until I finally have lived through every lyric in this song, or at least close to it.
