Yeap, it's a token that you can trade, give it a value with real/fiat money and all the transactions registered on the blockchain as ETH.

Hello Hans, I am not a Binance user, but what just happend is: you sent eth from the sepolia network("blockchain") to your Binance address, and I am not sure if that exchange (Binance) has the blockchain/net in their systems... But is something that i'm not sure, maybe on internet you can find more info about "how to see sepolia eth in Binance". Hope it helps!

Do you know why I am getting failed transaction using Sepolia testnet when trying to create smart contract. Transaction will likely fail is the message and then it fails.

@@cdapps I set environment as Injected Provider - MetaMask . I just followed the code from hashlips and their video and the only change I made is in the line 129 where I commented their asking of 5% but I doubt it is the cause of the error.
@@marryalen6286 yeah, I agree with you with the commented line... At this moment the only think that maybe is something with Remix IDE, maybe changing the gas limit 🤔, because if you have your metamask setted and money in your wallet, shouldn't has to be a problem.
You know what other thing you can try... Deploy that token in the Binance Smart Chain Testnet, you only have to set your metamask to BNBTestnet, faucet some fake BNB your wallet (Google: bnb testnet faucet, paste your address), and click the same deploy button.
And we can see if we have the same error. Is something in the message is not clear, dont worry, just tell me ✌🏼
@@cdapps The thing is, I do not have option to go for Binance as this is only test for now and I got 0.045 SepoliaETH for testing.
I have real ETH for mainnet but I wanted first to try out whole process. Will see more things tomorrow and let you know if I made any progress. Thank you very much
Hi, I don't have a punctual answer about the failure, I was reading some stackoverflow post and other pages and many of them talk about a problem with the Gas Estimation (The normal value is 3000000), but those posts are around 2020, so idk... kind of old.
In order to keep trying, I will do 2 tests:
1. REMIX IDE: Compile de Solidity file -> In the deploy part, instead the "MetaMask - Provider" you can try with "REMIX LONDON (VM)" and click deploy, REMIX is gonna simulated a blockchain (Virtual Machine) and you can test the functions, etc. But the thing is, if the deploy click works, that means the code is good, so the problem is when you try to put the token on the blockchain.
2. With the gas Estimation in 3000000 and MetaMask - Provider, I will try again with Sepolia. And if the failure message appears again I will totally try with the BNBTestnet idea, the idea I commented before (I totally understand you dont want to use BNBTestnet. But you can make the proccess in that network to see if you have the same result) If in BNBTestnet the deploy works, we are gonna know the code is ok and REmix deploy button is ok, is not so much work, is only set your Metamask and faucet with fake BNB, I have a video explaining it.
The point is... if in BNBTestnet works, i dont know what can we do with Sepolia 😅, because Goerli Network is kind of problematic... So at the end we have to make it work in Sepolia... well, but if you have energy and time (Set your metamask network - Faucet with fake money), i think you should try deploying in another network (Hey Polygon is another option)... you are gonna learn, and maybe we could have more information for that annoying message that you are getting.
have you created any actual coins? by chance, do you know where an ERC20 coin that's been created, can be purchased? it shows up on Etherscan but I've not been able to find a Dex that I may sell it on : (
Ok, until this step you did it perfect.
You have 2 important things:
- Your contract is created in the blockchain.
- All the coins are in your wallet.
So now you have to add Liquidity, in another words, real money to give him a value in the market (If sounds weird, don't worry).
For that process you need to have USDT in your wallet, and we are gonna use an exchange like PancakeSwap to do that.
I'm gonna search a video on TH-cam because is gonna be easier.
If you want your token/coin/contract with a logo and etc, you have to create an account in ethscan and fill a form with a lot of information, the img, your company, etc.

Liquidity:
In few words, when you add Liquidity, your token gonna have a trade value in the market (People gonna be able to buy and sell it).

To set more information to your token (logo, official name) you will have to complete information and create accounts in different places, is super long and annoying but well, you know, it is what it is:

So remember your token is already created, exist and you can send to friends, etc. You have it all in your wallet.
When you put it Liquidity, is gonna have a representative value in the market, so the thing is gonna be a little more serious.
If you want your token with a logo, etc. Is the create accounts in different platforms part (For me, not necessary unless your project is famous).

Sorry. Last thing, the token/contract is in this video is in the sepolia network, is a copy of Ethereum made it for test.
I'm not sure if you did it in Sepolia or directly to Ethereum.
In any case you have all the tokens in your wallet, if you have metamask you have to click import tokens, and paste your contract ID (That one that you can see in the Etherscan page). With that you gonna be able to send it to a friend for example.
ERC20 is an Ethereum standard to generate token. It is like a blue print. Hope you understand

Nop, is just a test ETH version, you can do all the functionality like convert with testUSDT, etc., but nothing have a real value, like Monopoly, only for testing.
So you can convert it to testPesos or fakePesos pero nada real, al menos que un loco te diga te doy dinero por tus sepolias, pero está difícil.

Hey bro, but as you said, rinkeby is not working anymore, the scan page is stopped, so I think we cannot deploy anything and test it (I'm 60% sure), but you can start doing crazy things with sepolia and göerli without any problem and for free as well (Göerli sometimes works weird I have to say).
